Raindrops

The rain falls
And drops land on the window
Chasing each other to the finish line
Before they collide

She stares out the window
Speculating her mistakes, her regrets, her sorrows
Shattered dreams that she will never achieve
As the raindrops fall.

All she sees is tears
They fall from the sky
Mother Nature cries for her
As she wishes for things to get better.

She feels like a raindrop
Plunging to the ground
Falling apart as she hits the ground
Only to start all over again.
