Fast as light,

Speeding quick as a bullet,

Though the opposite of ill-intentions,

Free as a bird gracefully flying through the clear blue sky,

Not a care in the world,

Nothing to weigh me down,

Hair whipping freely in the breeze,

Asphalt my only GPS,

No direction on mind,

Where-ever the road will take me,

Sunshine filtering through the canopy of oaks above,

Seeming to slip by fast,

But seconds turn to hours,

The rest of the world disappears,

Every bit of stress melts away,

Joy sinks in and burrows deep in my heart,

Leaving just the longboard and me...
