I live in a box of windows:
trapped in the monotony of my life,
where I'm free to dream of things beyond,
Where grass is greener,
Or skies a deeper shade of blue.

I live in a box of windows:
A room, a house, a phone, an apartment,
Paintings, pictures on the walls,
Windows too, framing views I never see,
Where I always want to go.

I live in a box of windows:
Inside is my own world, but
At every turn I am somewhere else.
