Hello! My name's Mick. I wrote this story and own the plot and characters. Here's the story! Hope you like it.
Chapter 1
Life sucks. I spent my whole life in beautiful Miami beach, and now, i was going to the copycat who got better luck. California. I despise Cali. I don't know why, but i do. My parents don't understand how much i hate California. So when my 'rents both got great jobs there, they decided on their own, that i would looooove California. Over my dead Ipod.
Oh, I didn't introduce myself. Well, I'm Nicole. Call me Niki. I hate my name. It should have been something like Matt, or Jake, or Ren! That's a good name. But alas, my parents hated me. They had their perfect blonde hair and gorgeous brown eyes. I had curly hair as white as fresh snow and wide eyes the color of lightly bleached violets. My parents say that my grandmother had white hair and my aunt Penny has My eyes. Whatever.
I'm about 5'7 with long legs. My skin is seriously pale. I sighed at my reflection as i brushed my curls softly. We were moving today. I put on a purple tank top, black leather jacket, black skinny jeans, purple converse high tops, and a black beanie with purple leather gloves. I grinned at my reflection.
"Well, Niki, if you're going to Cali, you're gonna make them remember you." I said to reflection Niki. Niki sneered and nodded her head. "Hell yeah." We said together.
"Niki, are you talking to yourself again?" My brother, Jace, asked. I smiled.
"Of course, we are planning payback on California. Care to join?" I asked.
"Sure."
"Cool. Now let me make sure you're worthy of being my bro." I said. Jace rolled his eyes but let me look at his outfit. His blonde hair was tousled and his teddy bear brown eyes were framed with his thick blonde lashes. He wore a black leather jacket with dark was jeans, a red T-shirt and red Vans. "Fantastical!"
"Thanks. I spent almost 10 minutes." I gasped.
"I'm so proud!" I told my bro. "Kay. Let's get going." I said sliding down the banister instead of taking the stairs.
"Niki! Stop sliding down the banister! You could get hurt." My father yelled.
"Dad, I've been sliding down the banister since i was 4." I said before landing in a perfect split. My mom raced up to me asi got up.
"Sweet! The best landing yet!" She said. I laughed as she fist bumped me and ran back into the living room to get a few extra boxes. My dad rolled his eyes and i grinned. Mom was a gymnast, swimmer, cheerleader, and athlete. She was proud whenever we accomplished anything that could hurt us, without getting hurt.
"Come on, Daddy dearest. Don't be so uptight." Jace said, sliding down the banister. He had his hands in his pockets and landed smoothly onto the carpeted floors. Dad sighed.
"Fine, but just be careful, you two." He said. We grinned and headed out the door. We started to race down the street. And trust me, there is no stranger sight than seeing two sixteen year olds, running down the road like they're being chased by the Po Po. We finally stopped at the local theatre and ran inside.
"Okay, so you think Marisol can give me the recommendation, right?" I asked Jace
"Yeah, you're amazing. How couldn't she?"
"I don't know. I'm just nervous."
"You'll be fine"
"Thanks, Jace."
"No prob." I walked into the office with Jace right behind me.
"Hey Marisol!" I told the Hispanic senior in charge of our theatre. She looked up and grinned.
"Hey Niki. Have a seat." I sat down and smiled. Marisol handed me a sheet of paper.
"I decided to recommend you. But you're amazing. You should have seen this coming any ways." She shrugged. I shrieked in happiness.
"She wasn't expecting this." Jace said. Marisol nodded and laughed.
"Thanks, Mari! See you! We'll come visit!" I said, waving as i dragged Jace away.
"Bye, guys! Have fun in Cali!" Mari said.
Jace and I ran back to the house. "Marisol recommended!" I screeched. Dad and Mom came running. Dad was an actor, so he was very pleased.
"Yes! I am so proud." My dad hugged me. I grinned cheekily as my mom hugged me too. Jace joined the group hug and i got squished.
"Umm. Guys. Imma squished." I groaned. Everyone back off.
"Sorry"
"My bad, dear!"
"Pshh whatever." That last one was my dad, who continued to hug me. Ugh, geez, i get that you're proud. Now let me gooo! I pushed him off and laughed. Dad roared with laughter and patted my back.
"I knew you had it in you." He winked. I grinned.
"Thanks, dad!"
"Okay, time to go." Mom announced. I sighed and nodded. Grabbing my duffle, i headed outside and plopped it into the backseat of the moving truck. Dad had bought his own giant industrial plane. So we could move our things to California faster. I hopped onto my indigo motorcycle. Its a ninja! I slipped on my helmet just as dad started the trucks engine. Jace got on his blue bike and put on his helmet. Dad gave the signal to follow him and drove off with me and Jace following close behind.
We rode all the way to the airport where the plane was waiting. We loaded all our vehicles onto the plane. As i left the plane, i saw dad motioning me to come. He was standing next to a small private jet. Damn. Where does he get all this money? Oh, right, he's an actor. I smiled as i boarded the jet. The seats were purple leather. Aw! My daddy did this just for me!
"Thanks dad!" I yelled.
"We thought that we could at least show you gratitude for being very well behaved this past month. Especially because we know you didn't want to move to Cali." Mom said, sliding into a seat in front of me. I grinned. Suddenly there was a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see a boy with brown hair and gray eyes. He had that same little curl in front of his face as superman. He smiled.
"Hey, I'm Sean. I'll be your flight attendant." He introduced himself. I smiled a tiny bit. I don't like to make friends.
"Niki Railad." I said. He grinned and winked. I rolled my eyes and started to read my magazine. This was gonna be a long flight.
