Stephanie Black didn't show emotion. It was better for people to think she was an ice bitch, even if that was more Lindi, than for them to know what really went on in her head. It was safer for them to believe that she was sadistic, which was more Desdemona, than for them to realize how much emotion she hid. Easier to believe that she was glad to have ran off, Arissa, than for then to feel what she felt. Then she met Kate and suddenly she felt her walls crumble. She began to live again; she finally allowed her emotions to run free.
