Unknown to all, a flower is born with every girl,

The stem clutched tightly by her delicate fist.

It passes unnoticed, for we treasure the human,

And life soon dissipates a rose into mist.

She lets go of the gift to snatch at her freedom.

Caution is lost, all roads are soon sampled,

We invite bulls to our homes and baboons to our meals,

And cannot comprehend how the roses were trampled.
