2Chapter 1: When they met...
The auditorium was filled with student at Kiriki high school on opening day. The student all sat quietly as the heavy-set principal spoke through the microphone to all the new faces. He wore an all tan suit and red tie, his hair lining was fading but you could tell it was because of stress not his age.
"Welcome everyone to Kiriki high school!" The principal said, "I'm your principal, Mr. Akiyama. For the next 3 years or so, Kiriki will give you the knowledge you'll need for the outside world."
After that brief sentence, Kaname trailed off the speech the principal was giving. She couldn't help but to feel bored. 10 minutes into her new day of high school and she couldn't wait to get home.
She put her elbow on the armrest that was next to her and waited until speech was over.
After being in the auditorium for about 20 more minute of unless talking that was already told to her in middle school, it was time for her to make it to her new home room. Outside in the schoolyard, many students from the entire school surrounded the big bulletin board that hung on the school wall. It listed everyone names and home rooms.
It was long until Kaname found her name.
"Class 1-B..." she said to herself and sighed, "I'm still in the Class B? Why does that follow me." She shook her head and putt her hands in her pocket and started for the school entrance door.
As soon as she entered the building, she saw a crowd of people in the hallway screaming and shouting, "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" when Kaname looked closer, she could see the two heads on the floors beating each other senseless.
This was a surprising to Kaname; this was something actually something new. 'A fight on the first day of school?' she though. She hurried and ran over to see the fight to see all the excitement. She pushed her way through the crowd of students, she was surprised to see the two boys on the ground, but that wasn't all that was surprising. She recognized one of the boys on the floor; The boy who was extremely rude to her earlier that morning.
Kaname eye twitched. A part of her wanted the other guy to beat some sense into him. Another part wanted to do it herself. She started laughing inside. 'I guess his smart ass mouth got him into a fight' she thought. 'Well, that's kinda a no brainer'
the boys on the floor rustled violently. The other boy was on the bottom while the rude one was on top punching his face in hard. The other boy face was all bloody from his nose bleeding and his eye was turning purple. The rude boy kept hitting with no remorse what so ever; it was as though he was a total beast.
Kaname were surprised by the way the other students just cheered instead of even trying to break it up. It was sad that so many students could be so immature.
It wasn't long until someone finally came and actually broke the fight up. It was two other students and a staff. The two students were big and looked like they were 3rd year students. The staff was a women with dark brown hair and wore a dark blue pencil skirt and a light green shirt. She looked pretty young to be one of the staff at a school.
The two students grabbed the two boys off the each other. The rude boy was face was full of rage while other boy face was beaten to a bloody pulp. it was honestly terrifying to see.
"Everyone! Get to your classes, now!" The woman said. her voice was soft but had a bit of a base in it.
everyone that was around sucked their teeth and said "All man!" from disappointment.
Kaname looked at the rude boy one more time and shook her head. He exchanged the look and was surprise to see her. He hurried to look away from her as though he were embarrassed.
Kaname turned her back and headed to her class, leaven the boy and doing what the staff asked.
When Kaname made it to her class, it was as she expected. many of the other student were getting to know each other, for they was going to be new classmate and wanted to make new friends. Kaname wasn't expecting anyone to say anything to her, so she made her way to a nearby seat that was in the middle of the class. as usual, no one payed her any attention and she didn't mind it.
She took a deep breath and place her book bag on the desk and pulled out a book. She began to read and become relax. This is what she did every morning to get her mind on track, it was the only thing that made her feel like in her own little world.
But it wasn't long until the someone interrupted that and said, "Oh my god, You're a Natsuo Kirino fan?" said a voice from behind.
Kaname looked behind her and saw a girl who had jet black hair that was in a perfectly neat bun with a cute pink bow in the front. Her eyes the color of wood and her lips were as pink as cotton candy. She was pretty and very fashionable.
Kaname didn't know how to react. "Ah... yeah..." Kaname said, nervously. "She's my favorite author."
The girl eyes lighted up like there were stars in them and gasped dramatically, "You too!? It's so great to meet someone who actually are in to the same things." she stuck out her hand to Kaname and said, "My name is Aya Minato, It's great to meet you!" she tilt her head and smiled cutely.
"Ah... yeah...My name is Kaname Hinamori. Nice to meet you too." Kaname smiled back.
To Kaname, Aya was the cutest girl she had her saw. She gave off that vibe that she was a naive but innocent at heart.
Aya pulled up a chair from one of the desk that was next to Kaname desk and pulled up to Kaname desk.
"So, Kaname-chan, what middle did you coming from?" Aya asked.
"Adachi middle school."
"Oh really, I went to Ima Middle school which is right around the corner!"
The two girls stayed there chatting for about 15 minutes or so before the real school bell ranged.
Aya put the chair where she got it from and sat at that desk. The teacher walked into the room and Kaname was surprised to see that it was the same woman from earlier that morning that broke up the fight. Her face looked tired like she had a long day but it was only 9:45.
"Good morning class," said the teacher. She turn to the black board and grabbed the chalk. She began to write something on the board and when she was done, it said, 'Welcome students!"
"Well everyone, My name is Ms. Himura and I am the world history teacher and your home room teacher. So, since this is your first day, I want everyone to introduce their self."
Ms. Himura pointed to the first student that was in the row and it was a kid with regular cut brown hair and green eyes. He got up from out of his seat and said to everyone, "Hello... Ah..." the boy said nervously, "My name is Hikaru..."he quickly sat back down.
"Okay, that was good, Hikaru." said Ms. Himura with a smile.
A few second later, a knock came to the class room door and Himura quickly went to answer. When she answered, it was a lady who worked in the offices.
"I'm sorry to disrupt you, Ms. Himura. But I need to see one of your students." the lady said.
"Okay, sure" Ms. Himura replied, "Who?"
"Ms. Kaname Hinamori."
Kaname looked over to the two ladies at the door and said, "Me?"
Everyone eyes made their way to Kaname. She knew that it couldn't possibly be something bad. It was the first day of school, she hadn't done anything wrong yet.
Kaname took a deep breath and got up from out her seat and made her way to where the lady was. "So, what is it?" She said.
"The principle wants to speck with you." she replied.
'On the first day?' Kaname thought. "Why?"
"I'm not sure but I bet it isn't anything bad."
Kaname shook her head and then followed the woman down the hall.
When Kaname made her way to the offices, it was pretty calm in quiet inside with only the sound of a telephone in the background.
"Ms. Kaname, please take a seat over there." the woman said. Kaname looked where she was pointing at and at her surprised, she only saw two seats and one of them were occupied by someone else; The rude boy from earlier.
Before she could ask if there was somewhere else to sit, the lady disappeared.
Kaname were shocked. Where did she go that fast? She couldn't believe it, she had to sit next to that rude and arrogant guy.
'I guess it can't be helped...' she thought.
She walked over there slowly. The boy just sat, his head toward the floor, slouching over, trying to hind his face. She turned his to see who was coming towards him and when he saw who it was, he was surprised to see her. He Hurried to turn his face away from her.
"Uh...Hi." She tried to start on a right foot this time. But the boy didn't respond. 'Whatever then!' she screamed in her head. She sat in the chair, facing away from the boy as well.
The two sat there in the awkward silent as they waited to see the principal. Kaname just figured he was there for the fight that happen earlier that morning. She still couldn't believe that someone manage to get in a fight on the first day of school. She thought that only true idiots could manage to do something so stupid and immature. But she could figure that his smart ass mouth could be the answer on why it happened.
At this time, Kaname began to get bored. She was sitting there in that office for about 5 minutes without anyone to talk to. There was no way she was going to try to engage in another conversation with the boy just to get her feelings hurt, even though that would most likely not happen.
She just sighed and looked around some more. That's when she heard the low and deep voice coming from beside her. "I'm sorry."
Her eyes widen from shock, for she wasn't suspecting that. she turned to face the boy but his face was still turned the opposite direction. "Were you talking to me?..." Kaname said.
He stayed silent for about a few seconds then said, "Yeah... I didn't..." he tried to think of something fast but you could tell that he had a hard time apologizing. "Listen..." he turned around and faced her, "I'm sorry, Please forgive me?"
Author Note, Sorry for a slow beginning but HERE'S CHAPTER 1! He-he~ I'm trying to make this story a less action-E story but the way I'm thinking it out, It's going to be action.
