In Memory of All Holocaust Victims…

The Soldiers who liberated them…

And the people who still suffer social injustice, and intolerance.

Especially my Islamic brothers and sisters, and the Latino community who I keep in my heart

I must also not forget those who suffer from bullying and being ostracized for being different.

Let us not forget, intolerance was to blame… and still is to blame today.

My characters will be fictional, but the events in which my characters are to face are not fiction.

My characters will endure what they and even myself have endured.

But Moral of my stories

Accept one another, for as Anne Frank said,

"It's difficult in times like these: ideals, dreams and cherished hopes rise within us, only to be crushed by grim reality. It's a wonder I haven't abandoned all my ideals they seem so absurd and impractical. Yet I cling to them because I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart. I simply can't build my hopes on a foundation of confusion, misery, and death. I hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I look up at the sky, I somehow feel that this cruelty too shall end, and that peace & tranquility will return once again."

For you all, I begin writing my story using multiple stories of various Holocaust survivors and those who survived other forms of Genocide and mass death.

This is "Biorhythm: Stories of Horror, but of Hope"

I will begin with an introduction of who I am...

My birth name is Ashley Morales

My Convert name is Ameerah Al-Amari

I am a convert of Islam

I am also Latino

I am not a terrorist

I am not an Illegal

I am a girl from the City of Chicago

I do not wear a Hijab on a regular basis other than for the Masjid

I am a girly girl like any other girl

But I bear much wisdom growing up in the rough northwest side of Chicago.

Injustice is something I oppose with such a passion

This story is in dedication to the people who suffered injustice and the greatest injustice was written in History known as the Holocaust.

Never again.

I also write this for my Islamic brothers and sisters who endure injustice because of the after effects of September 11, 2001.

Just how Timothy McVeigh was not a representation of Christians, Osama bin Laden is not a representation of Islam and neither were those hijackers.

They key of preventing this from happening my friends, is tolerance. Times change and so do people.
