This is a short poem that I wrote quickly once I knew where I was going with it. Not sure if it's any good, but I hope you like it.

I see a face in the stars shining down on me

I see it every day and night

Whether it's dark or whether it's light

That's not where I want to be

I see a face in the sun smiling down on me

I see it through the clouds and rain

I know that I will never not see it again

But that's not where I want to be

I see a face in the waters looking back at me

I see it clearly for the first and last time

I no longer have to walk along this line

Because this where I want to be

And that face

Is me
