When Sofia got back into the car, Will was expecting her to scream and yell at him for his betrayal with Katrina. He was mildly surprised when she stepped into the car and laughed about how her sister likes to play sick. It then became obvious that Katrina did not say anything to Sofia about her and Will.
"She's been seeing Fred again," said Sofia after a few silent moments.
"She's with that jerk again? I thought she finally threw him in the garbage where he belonged?!"
"She took him back," she said, "Kat can do so much better than that guy. He's bad for her Will."
Will nodded. "I know Sofia but we can't force her to stop seeing him. She has to make that decision on her own."
It started to irritate Will how much Katrina and Fred being together bugged him. It always bugged him that she was with that low-life but now the feeling is different. This was a feeling he hadn't felt in a very long time….jealousy.
Yes, he was jealous.
He knew in his head that it was wrong to feel any sort of jealousy or possessiveness over Katrina but with his chest, he felt his heart lurching forward; screaming.
He had never seen Katrina in any other way other than a friend but since the night they made love, that's all he could think about.
"I'm going to have to go back to New York at the end of the week," said Sofia.
"Really, so soon?"
She nodded. "I have a lot to work to do Will, you know that."
He pulled into the drive-way and silently stepped out of the car. Sofia seemed to notice the change in his behavior. "Will? You know that I'm working a lot right now so we can enjoy the first couple months of our marriage without any worries," she said.
Will unlocked the front door and walked in. "But what about after the couple months have passed Sofia, what then? You're going to go back to traveling the world on business trips and I'll be here waiting like always?"
"Well, you can come with me. You'll be my husband after all."
"I don't want to go on business trips Sofia. Besides, I have the studio here that I have to run and projects that I need to tend to. I can't be gone for months at a time and expect everything to be okay."
She sighed; clearly frustrated with the turn this discussion was taking. "Why are you bring this up now Will? It never bothered you before."
He walked into the bedroom and took off his shirt and neatly hung it up in the closet. "This is our life I'm talking about with you. I want my wife to stay here in town with me. I want us to be united. I don't want any long distance crap Sofia."
She sat on the bed and watched him as he undressed. Her eyes feasted upon his smooth chiseled chest, and she suddenly began to desire him.
"Make love to me," she stated.
He looked at her; surprised. Sofia was never the type to take charge in the bedroom. "I thought you said you didn't want to do anything until our wedding night."
She shimmied out of her dress. "I changed my mind."
He quickly went to her. He needed to take advantage before she changed her mind.
He picked her up and put her on the bed and shed the last of his clothing. He pulled down her panties and kisses her stomach. "You're beautiful Sofia."
She smiled and ran her hands through his dark blonde hair, ruffling it out of place.
He eased himself into her lithe body and thrust into her; building up momentum with every movement. Her hold on him tightened as her sexual nerves reached their beach and she came in a fury of passion and lust. Will soon followed suit and minutes later, they were holding each other.
"You're a good lover," she whispered. She softly rubbed some fingers up and down his arms; giving him chills.
"So are you my love," he said.
She smiled. "I think we should try to have a baby, soon after we get married."
He breathed deep. "I think we should wait. We have forever together, we are in no rush."
"Maybe, but I'd love to have a mini you to take care of."
Will smiled and said, "Sofia, we really should work on spending time together before bringing a child into the world."
She nodded. "I suppose you're right." Soon after she said those words, she drifted off to sleep.
Will closed his eyes but all he could see was Katrina, lying in the same spot Sofia was now laying, a week ago. Had he even washed the sheets after his sexy romp with Katrina?
With images of Katrina floating all through his mind, he was finally content to sleep. So he did.
The following morning, he woke up to the smell of food. He stood out of bed, pulling on a pair of shorts and not bothering to put a shirt on. When he entered the kitchen, he saw Sofia at the stove making breakfast; fully dressed. He suddenly felt naked.
"Good morning my love," she said cheerfully. Obviously, their love-making had put her in a good mood.
He went to her and wrapped his long arms around her waist and kissed her neck. "Mmm, you smell good. You must have showered."
She smiled and flips the French toast that was in the pan. "I sure did. I'm going to do some shopping for the wedding."
Will smiled. "I'm glad to hear that."
She prepared the plates and set the table. "I have some good news," she stated.
Will sat down and poured them both a cup of orange juice. "What is it dear?"
She smiled. "I'm pregnant."
Suddenly, it was like the world stopped spinning. Will looked up; mortified. "What did you say?"
She reached across the table and grabbed his hand. "Will, I'm pregnant. I haven't had my period since last month and I came home because I wanted to tell you in person."
Will's mouth was dry and his eyes widened. "Sofia, I'm…speechless. Are you sure?"
She nodded happily. "Yes, I took a pregnancy test last week in New York. I couldn't wait to come home and tell you."
He looked down at his food. He suddenly didn't feel hungry. "I don't know what to say," he admitted.
"I know, believe me, I was shocked too."
He wasn't sure of what to say. He had nothing against kids, he always wanted one. Just not right now; he wasn't ready for fatherhood.
"Sofia, this is unbelievable. I'm going to be a father!"
Sofia nodded and took a bite of her food. "Don't worry, the wedding will go on as planned next month and no one has to be the wiser of the pregnancy."
"It'll be obvious though won't it Sofia?"
Sofia shrugged and took another bite. "It doesn't matter Will. This is a blessing for us."
Will nodded but there was no real emotion behind it. He couldn't be a father right now. Not when he was so confused about Katrina and Sofia.
Wait, why did he mention Katrina?
Katrina was his best friend; who also happens to be his fiancée's sister. What happened between them should have never happened. It was a mistake that happened and although they can't take what they did back, they can move on with their lives and forget about it.
But Will couldn't forget it…
He couldn't forget Katrina's kisses, her plump body, and the noises that escaped her lips as he thrust his manhood inside her. He wanted Katrina again, there was no denying it now.
He needed to have her again.
"What are you thinking?" asked Sofia.
Will looked up at her. "Oh nothing dear, I'm just thinking about the little baby growing in your belly."
Sofia smiled. "I'm glad you're happy about the pregnancy like I am."
He forced himself to take a bite of his food. He was anything but happy. But he could never admit it to Sofia.
There was so much happening in his life at once; things were suddenly moving too fast. Everything was out of his control and all he could do is stand and watch his life sink.
The doorbell rang just then, and Will took that as his sign to walk away from the situation and get some fresh air. "I'll get it," he announced.
Sofia smiled and picked up one of her celebrity magazines and began reading from it.
He quickly walked to the door and opened it. But in no way was he prepared for the face before him.
"Katrina…" he said softly.
Katrina's brown eyes looked at him and it was obvious that was uncomfortable.
"Hi Will, is my sister here?"
Will nodded and let her in. Today might look up after all.
