Huh. Who knew school could inspire so many poems?
Learning
Long boring painful hours
Trapped in my lonely mind
Listening to what's important in life
But doesn't seem to be
And I wonder
If it will always be like this
Listening listening
To what's not important
But is
Your life and worth
Is measured
By how well you listen
And how long you stare
Not by love
Or how much you care
Or how much you see
Or truly learn
Not by the number of loyal friends
And laughter
Or the things that really matter
If you are not good
At what is deemed proper
Then you are good at nothing
In society's eyes.
