Chapter 1 The awakening

The sun crept up on him like a predator would do his prey. Flowers surrounded his body, hiding him within their petals. He groaned and went to move his head to the side only to wince at the stiff pain in his neck. He moves his arm just a little as if testing if he could move. He opens his eyes revealing an icy blue color, he winced at the brightness of the sun and quickly closes his eyes.

'Why the fuck is it so bright?' He mentally groans and turns his head to the side. Ignoring the pain in his neck, he opens his eyes once again, this time more slowly, letting his eyes adjust to the light as best as they could. He blinks seeing the flowers for the first time. They are bold and beautiful, some are bright yellows, neon blues, deep purples, and many others.

He moves his arm a little more before trying to move the other one. Smiling he sits up on his elbows, crying out in pain, he lays back down slamming his head into the hard ground. A sharp pain fills his head but it does not hurt nearly as much as the agonizing pain that was currently occupying his stomach. Pulling up the torn tank top he wore, he lifts his head just enough to see the four inch gash that was across his stomach. Gently he ran his across it wincing.

'At least it is not completely open.' He thinks as he takes a deep breathe. He groans once again as the pain comes back when he moves his leg. Bringing his hands up to his face, he wipes the sweat from his face to find them coated with blood. Looking at his hands, he frowned at the sight of two huge gashes in his hands that were currently open and bleeding, the blood running down his arms. He touches his finger to his palm finding that he couldn't feel a thing.

Taking a deep breath, he sits up slowly his face scrunching up in pain. He feels the gash on his stomach slowly ripping open and he breathes in calmly trying to ignore the pain. Pressing down on the wound, he tries to slow the bleeding as he stands on his shaky legs.

'What happened?' he thinks, whimpering as the pain in his stomach increases. He limps towards the trees that surround him, leaning up against it he looks down at his stomach. His tank was soaked in blood and he decides to use it as his advantage. Carefully, and slowly, he slides the tank top over his head and uses it to put even more pressure on his stomach. He continues to walk further into the woods.

The trees tower over him as he walks further hoping to find help soon. He stops many times to take a break and just stare into space or watch the woods smallest creatures scurry across the leaf covered ground. He continues to walk, his vision blurring the further he goes. He collapses on the floor, his legs giving out from under him. Landing on his womb, he cries out and rolls over onto his back.

Staring up at the trees tops, he slows down his rapid breathing. His stares soon turning into a glare, forcing himself, he stands up and leans up against a tree beads of sweat slipping down his face. He didn't know why but his body told him to stop but his mind and his will power told him to carry on. He decided to listen to his brain and walks just a bit further, he smiles as he sees an opening up ahead and he quickens his movements praying it's a village on the other side so he could get some help.

He steps through the opening and freezes his eyes going wide. In front of him was vast land going across and wide. A brick home stood in the middle of the land, its roof reaching up as far as the sky and walls that looked like they could not fall. The home was a reddish brown color, with bushes filled with beautiful red roses surrounding the front and a long black drive way leading to the stairs. The stairs were brick as well but the brick was much darker that the house itself.

A man opens the door, broom in hand. He steps aside and allows a woman to exit with a bow of his head. The boy was surprised by her beauty. She wore a long emerald colored dress with jewelry to match and was absolutely stunning. Her golden locks were curled and tied back in a high ponytail that was clipped with a butterfly pendant and her eyes were almost the color of her dress. She was fairly pale and her lips were stained red. She makes her way down the stairs over to the roses observing them. The man wore a tux and adjusts his glasses on his face before sweeping the top of the stairs.

He snaps out his trance and makes his way over to her and the man. The girl didn't even bother to glance up at him as he approached though the man did. He watched the man pauses mid sweep and stare at him with widened eyes. Dropping the broom, the man makes his way inside before the boy could even ask for help. The girl looked up and then at him, she backs away slowly and screams as if she were afraid of him. He reaches out towards her and opens his mouth to speak though no sound come out. He fell to his knees then, his vision fading away to darkness. As he hits the ground he looks up to see a pair of emotionless golden brown eyes staring down him.

'Please….help me….' He thinks before everything goes black.
