On The Road
Is such a great book
You purred to me once
But I didn't read it in case
It made me feel a vagabond buzz
That warm between the ears burr
When someone else's string of words
Plays the chords in your own heart

Title tracks for traveling
Along a long curve of spine

Or it could have been what I'd see in you
(Sometimes I'm not sure where a thought
Is yours or mine or born of both our minds)
Really, that is a strange power, this conjuring
Of neuronic predilections that happens
When our nimbuses grasp, clasp and touch
The hair of each other's synaptic wrists
A becoming, of strains yet unsung
But already known
