I had a dream and decided to write it out. Since it was so short and there was really no EXACT beginning or ending I had to improvise. I tried writing it how I dreamt it to the best of my ability before I forgot it completely then added some. Lol anyways, let me know what you think! (It's a little rough so I apologize.)

I watch as Brazil drinks from a cup filled with all kinds of pills mixed with soda. We were young and always looking to do something entertaining. We didn't know. We didn't know what we know now. We were reckless and we should have been dead a long time ago. However, no one would have guessed one of our ideas for fun would turn out to be one of the greatest things to ever happen. Right in our little town. Right in my own home. Two bestfriends that were poor would make it to be one of the richest.

"I watched as his face paled and took on a look of terror as he quickly rose from his chair and ran to the kitchen sink, now screaming in agony. Before he could turn the faucet on, he collapsed, screaming. I, of course, was horrified. And young. Therefore, I didn't know what to do. I had no phone, my parents were gone and my closest neighbors lived almost a mile away. No way was I leaving my bestfriend. And am I ever so glad I made that decision."

I pause and take a breath.

"After 30 seconds it felt as if he was running a fever but then.. but then his entire body felt like he was on fire. Like he was about to burst into flames!" The audience begin to talk amongst themselves and some ask questions.

"Please," I say, putting a hand up to quiet them "there's more."

I stare at them while they settle down. When I'm pleased there will be no more interruptions I begin again.

"I sat next to him and could only watch. Watch as he cried. Watch as he screamed. As he cursed and writhed. Blistered... One of the strongest men I know endured such a level of pain he should be dead for the longest minute and a half. But. But I also witnessed something magnificent.

I watched as the redness and blisters quickly disappeared, his skin just soak up the sweat covering his body like it was natural and an everyday occurrence in only three short seconds, and his skin, which was scorching, had cooled just like that," I snap my fingers.

"A man that has always been beautiful turned into perfection. Any imperfections he once had were no longer there. He literally glistened."

I smile.

"He's alive and well. Oh, and here today," I announce.

I look to my right and watch him step into the room. He's wearing an all black suit. His suit jacket is open and he has his hands in his pockets and a smile on his face as he walks toward me onto the stage.

"Meet Brazil Connick," I say as I meet him in the center.

"Hey, baby," I whisper.

"Hey, love," he responds after kissing my cheek.

We step apart and look to the audience.

I put my hand on his bicep and say "This, ladies and gentlemen, is the future."

I just watch them for a moment. Let them see the man that shines brighter than ten suns.
