Don't know how much people will love this, but what the heck. :)

Warning: mpreg, guy in guy, mature scene soon enough. And unbeta-ed, so expects a lot of grammar mistake

This will be a rather short story, just explanatory, since my main focus would be the generation after them. This is just to set the mood, I guess. xD

=====[LINEBREAKER]=====

It was a Monday when Aiden first met Zero.

Aiden vividly remembered that it had been snowing that morning, because he had remembered that some part of him had wished that he was outside, playing in the snow with the other kids.

Because instead of lying on the snow and making snow angel, Aiden was sitting on the grown up chair in his father's office, with the older blonde male sitting on the other side of the table.

"Aiden." His father started in what Aiden called as his alpha voice.

Because he is the alpha of their pack.

Aiden straightened immediately. When an alpha uses his commanding tone, he would expect nothing less than submission. Even if the other person is his son.

Especially if the other person is his son.

"You are going to grow into a strong man. Your strength would be your ticket to everything you want. You would be the one to bring everything that we had built into its glory." There was proudness that showed in his voice and even in his smile. He sobered up just a second later. "But, it would also be your downfall if you let yourself to be lead around by it. Your strength is your responsibility and when you are the alpha, the peoples' trust is also your responsibility."

Aiden kept his face sober as he listened to the speech that he had heard so many times in his 12 years old life, vowing to himself that he would be everything that his father wanted him to be and everything that pack, some outsiders would called it a medium-sized country, even though the locals are more inclined to follow the ways of the old, would ever wished in an alpha. It was still something in the future, but everyone knows that Aiden would someday takes over the pack.

Not because he is the son of the alpha.

But, because he is the son of Will and Sera.

[LINE BREAKER]

It was not understand why, but some people had been designed for something even when they are still in the wombs of their mothers. They could either be pre-designed as a warrior or a bearer.

A warrior, as the name would suggests, hold strength unlike the usual. Though some would go against the stereotyped; most of them would have big built and muscles that come easily. They are usually in the security business; either joining as a soldier or ventures off to be a private bodyguard. Though, there had been a written agreement that every warrior would do their part to guard the pack, if the need ever rises.

A bearer, on the other hand, is, commonly, more gentle and more domestic. They mostly focused on housework and taking care of others. They are, usually, have the power to sooth and calm people, even in the throe of pain and hurt. A bearer usually would choose not to have a career, and instead focused on their family. But, it was very encourage for a bearer to join in the healing business.

While both are respected just as much as any normal people; a warrior is normally awed for their strength, if not feared, and a bearer will be loved for their gentleness.

The way to differentiate a warrior or a bearer is by the sign on their hand.

For a warrior, they would be born with two red lines around their right wrist. On the other hand, the bearer would have two soft pink lines around their left wrist.

The warriors and the bearers also differed in regard to their fertility. A bearer, considering their biology, is very fertile and would have no problem to conceive a child. Even a male bearer could bear a child, with their biology being tweaked slightly due to their design. Even though a male warrior could easily impregnate someone, the females would have trouble to get pregnant as well as keeping the pregnancy.

It had been fortunate that a female warrior is very hard to find.

Unfortunately, Sera had been born as one.

Thus, the reason why everyone in the pack had been surprised when Will, just a few days after he became the alpha, decided to court Sera, despite the chances that he would never be granted an heir to take on the spot as the alpha.

When the elders had loudly expressed this in a meeting, Will had just calmly said that if that happened, if their marriage was never blessed with a child, then Will would just hold on to the alpha title until someone worthy comes along.

Even if that someone is not from his bloodline.

Will married Sera after two years of courting, Sera had been adamant on staying single her whole life so that she doesn't has to face disappointment because her biology, in a ceremony that lasted a week.

With Will and Sera being cooped up in their room from the second day to the last.

It was their wedding anyway.

They are happy, being in their own bubbles of perfect wedding, which showed easily in their faces as well as the way they carried themselves.

But, that still didn't stopped peoples from talking. From pointing out the obvious flaw in their marriage.

About the fact that Sera might never get pregnant or that if she actually did, the child most probably would never get to see the light of the day.

The idle mouths whispered, voicing out things that most would consider as sensitive to be touched on.

They never said this in front of Sera and Will.

Which was understandable because Will had been the strongest warrior, as well as being the alpha, and Sera was the fifth strongest.

That strength didn't stopped Sera from getting hurt from the words, though. It didn't stopped her from crying in her husband's chest at night when another attempt failed to bear any result.

That hurt was the reason why Sera was beyond the moon ecstatic when one visit to the doctor after she had been feeling feverish declared that her womb was currently being occupied for about five weeks already.

Just after that visit, Sera voluntarily checked herself in a room in a private hospital for a next few months until it was time for the baby to be born, much to the amusement, as well as understanding, of the doctors.

Even though the pregnancy meant that any sign of sex, beyond chaste kisses, was out of the table, Will was in the room as much as he could, even ordering for his office table to be transported to the hospital so that he could work by his wife's side.

Despite a few complications that did happened to Sera, and a very painful labor, Aiden was born.

A healthy and strong warrior boy with blackest hair and bluest eyes.

He was Will's and Sera's pride and joy, as well as the pack's.

[LINEBREAKER]

"I won't let you down, alpha." Aiden said, his tone a vow and his eyes spoke of a firm promise. On the other side of the table, Will let a smile played on his lips.

"Stop moulding your son to be like you." An amused voice said from behind Aiden, and he turned to see his mother.

Sera grinned as she leaned on the doorframe, long black hair tied, the yellow sundress flowing freely, her eyes watching her two most favourite guys. The doctors had said that Sera would never conceive again, her womb couldn't take it anymore. But, Sera and Will never blamed their fate; having Aiden was enough for them.

"Mommy." His voice was less formal, more like the child he is as he regarded his mother, though he didn't do anything more since he was still in a meeting with his alpha.

Even though that said alpha was now grinning as he looked at his wife as well, his expression relaxed tremendously.

"Hey baby." Sera said fondly, bending to kiss Aiden on the forehead, before she moved to her husband's side. "Hey baby." Her tone turned sultrier, giving Will a kiss that he took no time to return.

The heat in their marriage hasn't faded even after 20 years of marriage.

A normal child might had turned his head in childish disgust, but Aiden grinned as he watched the interaction, hoping silently that he would someday found someone that he would feel so strongly for as well.

"So, since it is showing outside, you cancel his training class and decided to give him an alpha-to-future-alpha talk?" Sera asked, amused as she placed herself on the arm of Will's chair, her husband's hand wrapped around her waist.

"Well, he needed that talk sooner or later." Will said, shrugging.

"Oh. Don't you dare pretend like you don't give him that talk every time you tucked him in bed." Sera's voice was amused as she looked at her husband, her hand placed on top of the protective hand on her stomach. Aiden just watched with a grin in his lips.

Before Will could responds, however, the door to his office opened and Will's next in command barged in. The fact that he had come in without even waiting for Will's order spoke with volume that something must had happened.

All three of them stood up immediately.

"You have to see this, alpha."

Both Will and Aiden followed Derek out of the room; Derek showing the way at the very front and Aiden following closely behind his dad.

They walked for about a few minutes, Derek leading them to the garden nearby the alpha's office building, and he kept on walking. It wasn't a private garden, anyone could goes there if they want to, but not a lot of people actually do, mostly since it had been so close to the alpha's office that people had regarded the garden as a formal-occasion only garden. At the end of the garden, is a gate that leads to the nearby forest. The gate is closed most of time, to avoid any unwanted wild and dangerous animal.

They reached the gate after walking for a bit more, and what met them wasn't any unwanted wild animal.

But, a young boy, Aiden guessed about his age, wearing a simple tunic that barely showed its initial cream colour, and he was leaning on the gate, sleeping while his hands hugging his knees. A large part of him that wasn't covered with the tunic was bloodied, scarred, bruised and/or scratched. His red hair was messy and unkempt, showing signs that it hadn't been washed for a very long time.

"Boy." Will's voice was soft and cautious as he neared the boy. The little boy opened his eyes immediately and emotions filled his brown eyes abruptly.

Fear, hatred and hopelessness. There was a survival instinct as well behind the eyes, though only Will and Derek could see it, experiences gained from countless fights. An instinct that could be dangerous, to himself, since the boy would be willing to do anything to survive.

And Aiden wandered what had happened to him that could warrant such emotions.

"I got a knife." The boy immediately said, holding his short knife in front of him with both hands. It was blunt, and frankly, with two grown, seasoned warriors standing in front of him, a boy his age and his built couldn't defend himself with all the weapons in the world.

But, that wasn't what caught the attention of the three warriors.

It was the two soft pink lines around his left wrist.

He was a bearer.
