God's Grandeur by Harry Hopkins
Inspired Poem
Sitting in knowledge
Where the walls have absorbed and retained
More words and wisdom
Than an Einstein Prodigy
Writer's reek of wordful wonders
Which often render readers speechless
A class like this is hard to find
Composure. Where anxious muses
Ride through foggy road blocks
And grace a worldless wall—
Dripping inspiration—
Hopskins caged it all
Playing with language
Like the phrases would relinquish
Excitement of God's Grandeur
Around every corner, through every cell
Within a human heart like mine.
