Dipping gently into the sea

I see it from my pier

Flittering white as sails on ships

The clouds do rush to throw their siege

Upon the earth's humble leave

Rains dash heavy around the deep

Oceans fill with breaking tears

I watch quietly from my pier

Earth eating away at the sea

That hangs atop the world out of reach

Upon the earth's humble leave

Reaching out to touch its creed

It tells to me of our deeds

This earth I feel, falls away from me

And desperately as I plead

To be born again of the sea

...it whispers into my ear

When the people are to see,

the world's crumbling fears

Upon the earth's humble leave

In the earth's final kingdom

I reach out for its freedom
