Wide, fearful eyes gleam of innocence.
Her pusillanimous expression unmistakable.
Bright, bubbly liquid pools around her,
bathing her in orange, flaming light.
She is enclosed; trapped.
Her breath falters with nervousness.
She closes her ivory eyes,
a tremor coursing through her entire body.
Her little feet leap with great care
prudent not to misstep.
She is flying, suspended through the air.
Noting holding her back, no one to catch her.
Alone, herself, flying, and free.
Then she lands on the rough rock with a light thud,
Allowing the softness to embrace her in it's warmth.
