Since learning archery,
I have decided to become the opposite of Cupid:
Instead of setting couples,
I will break them.
But only the ones that should break,
like the woman who thinks her boyfriend kisses through his fists,
or the man who pretends the cologne on his wife's neck belongs to him,
or the partners who won't split because misery in two is better than misery in one.
No, none of them believe
happiness in one can happen,
and is always better than suffering with someone who doesn't care.
So I will aim with my bow,
and as my arrow flies free,
so will they.
