To all the brave men who have died in service to the country . You will not be forgotten.
The sound of gunfire filled the air .
"Alright everyone lets move." Captain Wells ordered his men.
"Sir we can't go forward. The Korean force is too strong." A sergeant said. "We might have been able to do it but the other battalion ran off at first sight of the enemy."
"We must fall back, everyone lets go." Captain Wells and his men retreated back. After a while of fighting they were pushed back into a cave.
"Come on men, keep fighting."
"Sir." The sergeant said. "Their pulling out the FNs."
"Take cover!" Wells yelled and with that a barrage of enemy fire filled the cave. The sound of bullets hitting rocks and shards of stone echoed loudly. The guns slaughtered tons of the troops.
"What do we do sir? Their coming for another round."
"Stack up the bodies. Use them for cover. And do it quickly."
At the mouth of the cave the bodies of their fallen brothers were stacked up. Luckily the plan worked. There were so many bodies that the bullets couldn't pierce through their defense. Those that did took the soldiers with them.
"Sir the Koreans are falling back."
"What," Wells asked. "They have the advantage?"
"Sir, reinforcements are here."
"Alright men let's go." The Americans ran out of the cave after the Koreans. But a hidden sniper was just above the cave. The bullet hit Captain Wells in the shoulder.
As I said above this is a tribute to those who lived and died to protect us. Do not let their deaths go in vain, remember their sacrifice.
