AC: Hello everyone. I've modified the prologue of this story because the other one was really bothering me and my mind told me I can do it better. I found out how to make a better prologue for you.

Prologue: Welcome To Spes Island

A small ship navigated on the endless ocean of the world, guided by the winds by his large white sail, while someone held a rope attached to the sail, so it will be in control. Inside the small ship, two travelers were sailing toward an unknown destination. One of them was small and lightly chubby while the other one was much taller and controlling the ship.

The smaller one held against the sail and asked with a masculine bored tone, "When are we reaching our destination?"

The other one grabbed a compass and looked at it. The compass was made of bronze with only an arrow made of a red diamond on it, pointing a little to their right. As the taller one corrected the ship trajectory to the direction given by the compass, "We will know when we see it. It's only the Holy Compass."

The little one noticed an island appearing at the horizon, where the ship was heading.

"Boss! I see an Island to our North!" a masculine voice yelled in excitement as he climbed down the sail and dashed at the front of the ship. He pointed forward and turned toward his boss.

The boss, sitting at the back of the ship, looked toward the island with his three silver eyes and replied, "Calm down Ryuki. I do not think what we are searching will be on this island... Unless the compass changes direction as we pass it."

Ryuki was a mini dragon with orange scales on his body except his yellow underbelly. He had blue eyes and three short horns on his head. He wore a blue jacket.

Meanwhile, his boss was a tall being who wore a green armor with a few yellow parts on his chestplate, gloves and boots. He had a long purple tail with a metallic spike in the end. Under his helmet, his silver eyes shined through hole on his forehead as he checked the direction of the wind. He wore over his armor a red kimono and brown wooden was armed with a blue katana.

The boss changed directions of the ship and sailed toward East. As he started to pass the island, the compass pointed toward the Island, West of them, "Guess this is our destination."

Ryuki excitedly yelled, "We found it!"

The boss stood up and observed the island, "We did Ryuki. Things are looking good for us."

The boss corrected the direction the ship was taking and they closed the distance between them and the island. Eventually, they reached it and sailed as it touched the sands.

The boss climbed off the ship and pulled it so the waved wouldn't grab the ship and sunk it in the endless ocean and condemned them to remain there for the rest of their lives.

Once it was attached against a large rock, Ryuki climbed down the ship and looked around, "Do you think there is a civilisation here?"

"We do not have a map to make sure of it," the boss returned to the ship and picked a blue bag for him and a small magenta one for Ryuki, "I think we should explore it a little. We might stay here for a while and we need a shelter. We just found out where the object we are seeking might be, but we can't find it that easily."

"Aye boss!" Ryuki replied as he grabbed his bag.

The boss checked one last time if the ship was safe, left alone at the beach before nodding in satisfaction.

They walked outside of the beach as their foot touched the soft grass of the field. It didn't take long to notice there was dirt floor making a road leading somewhere. Ryuki pointed far ahead and asked, "If there is a road, maybe there is a village over there. Should we take a look boss?"

He scratched the bottom of his helmet and thought about it. He eventually replied, "It will be best that we visit the village, if there is one. They have to know visitors came to their island in peace."

"You got it boss," Ryuki said as he took the lead to the village, followed not far behind by the armored one.

They followed the road and reached the entrance of the village. It was a small village with farms spreading toward the distance. The houses were small except two who are bigger. They guessed that one of them was an inn and the other one was the mayor house. They did notice some habitants starting to build around the village a wall made of woods. Both knew they were starting to fortify the village and could be troublesome.

When they saw the habitants, the boss commented, "We reach an island habited by mammals being."

The village had two species of humanoid mammals, anthropomorphic wolf and anthropomorphic bulls. It wasn't long before one of the villagers saw them, standing out of the normalcy.

"Look! Visitors!" the villager simply said.

Ryuki and his boss looked at them, understanding that they didn't hold ill intention towards them, even with the fortification of the village. The boss bowed to them and said, "Hello villagers."

"Welcome strangers," someone said to them, coming out of a large house. It was a wolfman with gray fur except for his white hair and tail and blue eyes. He wore a brown shirt with brown pants and had a bow on his back with arrows. "I am Woran, son of the mayor of our little village. I came on his behalf to welcome you in Green Field village."

"I am Ryuki!" the minidragon replied with a smile.

"Nekon," the boss bowed to Woran, "We sailed here because we are explorers and desires to undercover artifacts of the past."

Woran nodded and turned toward the large house, "Maybe you should come inside and state your business. This island isn't as safe as before since they came here."

Nekon frowned as he heard that, wondering what he meant. He did notice the fortifications. He wondered who came here, but simply replied for now, "You can take the lead."

Woran walked in the mayor's house, followed by Nekon and Ryuki.

Woran told the rest of the villagers, "You can return to your activity please. If those strangers want to spend their money, they will do so. We still have to get ready just in case they come here."

The villagers obeyed Woran's command and spread out. Most continued the fortifications of the village while some walked toward the woods far from the village to get more supplies.
