عقیدت - Aqeedat - Reverence
The moon is the jewel of the night sky.
The stars don't even come close to matching its celestial beauty. They are lovely, albeit less, and have burned out centuries ago. They are dead. The light emanating from them is like a corpse decomposing, its nutrients slowly seeping into the ground. But the moon is alive. She is grand, she shines with brilliance.
Why are the stars spoken about in plural form while the moon is singular? Because she symbolizes one. She is close enough to be admired, desired. She is the embodiment of mystery. But she is far enough that one can never get to her. She is unattainable. Though the stars may hide, she is always there. The stars can never shine as bright as her. She can outnumber a cluster because her other half, the sun, is always behind her, giving her light. Because of him, she dazzles. There is no her without him.
Just like the sun and moon, the ice princess and jinn symbolize night and day. Why is everything hotter during the day yet colder at night? It is because of these two entities, affecting the balance of the universe. Without them, the balance is out of order.
Both have deep a reverence for each other, co-existing in each others' nature. They have changed each other for the better. She colors his life with her love. He gives her strength and a sense of calmness
