The ant climbs trees.
As does the spider, as does the chipmunk, as does the beetle, as does the squirrel.
The ant crawls on a speckled, holey leaf in the dirt, on to the next leaf.
Zoom out. There are endless, many-coloured leaves, no two the same.
Zoom in. Leaf, to seemingly rusted twig, and even more bravely, a much bigger branch.
What is the soldier climbing now?
Oh my - the ant is making a path on a mossy tree, climbing down, into the ground. Past twigs, past leaves, into dirt.
But a tree - leaves and branches and twigs form a tree.
Ant was climbing trees all along.
All it needed were the roots.
