Elaine was in her class and she was looking down at something hidden behind her desk. Elaine was smiling as she checked the pictures taken in her cellphone, as discreetly as she could. It contained many pictures of her and Kevin together as they dated during two weeks.

"You are really my chosen one," she softly said.

She checked the pictures she took of him the time they watched a movie together, before the movie started of course. The more image of him she had, the more she felt connected with him. She blushed as she watched the smile of Kevin on the pictures. She noticed that during those two weeks, the smile of the boy became large and joyful, as if his shy attitude disappeared as they knew each other more.

Elaine took time to know as much as she could about him. She wanted to offer him something and knew exactly what. She remembered her boyfriend talking about the series of novels he liked and the final tome was coming in a week, she wanted to obtain it for him.

"I'll do this afterschool," she said with her cheeks red.

Hemol heard her and mumbled, "Will she shut up about her boyfriend that bitch?" He wished that the teacher busted her, but it didn't happen.

Chapter 12: She Wants You and Only You Part 2

School was over and it was the day where the trio, Rock, Kevin and Hemol had to train under their master Ekum to control their power.

Rock had his umbrella and waited for Kevin to pick his. As he did it, he heard his girlfriend said, "Hello my little love."

The dragon watched the female human with scarlet hair kissing the boy on his mouth and whistled, "You sure got the perfect one for you Kevin."

She turned toward the dragon and politely asked, "Who are you? I never see you before."

"I'm Rock Dragon. I'm Kevin best friend and classmate. It's a pleasure to finally meet you," he replied as he showed his hand.

"Elaine Human," she replied as they shook hands.

The dragon felt her hand clenching around his own and it was lightly painful. He looked in the eyes of the girl. He saw nothing, but his instinct told him to be careful.

"It's thanks to him that we are together Elaine. I wouldn't have the guts to meet you if it wasn't from his tips," Kevin said.

"Then I have to thank you. Each day with him is fantastic," she blushed.

"If happy for the two of you. Anyway, we have to go," the dragon said, pushing aside what his instinct was warning him about and his lightly painful hand.

"I have to go too," Elaine replied as she gave her good-bye kiss to her boyfriend.

"See you tomorrow," Kevin waved at her.

She nodded and walked outside with her blue umbrella.

"You got a fantastic girlfriend," Rock declared as they walked outside. He didn't want to say anything bad about Elaine for his friend sake.

"I know. She is..." he didn't say anything else.

Hemol was waiting for them. He heard and grunted, "I don't want to hear about your girlfriend."

"Then you just have to go to the dojo by yourself Emo," the dragon replied.

"Hemol! Stop saying that!" the vampire bat yelled.

Elaine wasn't that far, walking at the opposite direction when she heard the name of the bat vampire. She turned around and saw him with Kevin. She didn't like this and frowned, "Guess I have to know a little more about your friends Kevin. Rock better not be a bad influence. If he is..."

The next day, before class begun, Hemol was putting his umbrella in his locker. He turned around and walked toward his class when he saw Elaine standing in his way.

"Move out," Hemol grunted.

The girl crossed her arms and said, "Listen to me Hemol. You better not try anything against Kevin."

The vampire bat frowned and grunted once more, "Why would you worry about Kevin?" the moment he asked the question, the answer already came in his mind.

"He's my boyfriend," she took a step forward him and said, "If you hurt him, then you will feel twice the pain he'll have. As his girlfriend, I'll protect him from the likes of you."

"I don't intend to hurt him bitch," he said. He focused his gaze on her for a second when something was different than before. He couldn't point on it thought.

"Maybe, but I'm watching you," she turned around and walked toward her class.

"Watch as you want. I'll do whatever I want and-" he gasped painfully when he felt a blow. He put his arms over his gut and felt on his knee as he spit his saliva on the ground. He glared at her and saw her hair at an unnatural position toward him. He blinked for a second and it was back to normal, unless he just didn't see it well.

"Whatever you want? Hemol. You better take me seriously or you're going to regret it," she darkly said.

"T-" the vampire bat raised his shirt and saw a small bruise around his belly button, "What the fuck happen?" He heard the bell ringing and hurried up in his class. As he sat beside Elaine, he grabbed his books for his class, but gazed at her for a second and knew he had to keep an eye on her.

During lunch time, Elaine walked outside of her classroom with Hemol spying her from afar. He kept his distance and listened to her footstep, making sure he could recognise it from the other students. He made sure that his headphone that covered his ears was in place and followed her discreetly. The vampire bat hesitated on how he could get his revenge on her. He knew she attacked him, but not the how and it was infuriating him. As he followed her, he didn't notice anything strange as she sat with other females in the cafeteria. They were having a girl talk and it was the most boring thing he had to listen.

He walked away, knowing he would obtain no information for now, but stopped when he overheard her asking to the other girls, "What do you know about Rock Dragon?"

He found it weird that she asked that question, but since she was Kevin's girlfriend, it made sense that she knew him a little.

One freshman female replied, "You don't know about him?"

"No. I never saw him or heard of him before," Elaine replied.

"That's normal. She wasn't in the same middle school as us," another one replied.

"Who is he?" she asked the other students.

"He's not really a bad guy, but he isn't someone good for you in school," the freshman female started. She then added, "He is known as the Dead Weight with his poor score in school. He always has around 60% and barely passing. If you are with him, he will drag your scores down and you will not have a good job in the future and little paid."

Elaine face lightly paled when she thought that Kevin was friend with Rock. She could imagine the scenario where he had a bad career in his future because he was a friend with Rock. She then lightly frowned when she saw the dragon as a potential threat for Kevin future. She couldn't let her boyfriend got in trouble or prevented from reaching his dream or potential by the one known as Dead Weight. She knew that if they got a project in group and they worked together, it will ended up with bad grades for her boyfriend or worst.

She noticed her friends looking at her and wondering what she was thinking, "I didn't know he was known that way. He's still better than Hemol when it comes to attitude."

"Yeah. That bat is such a jerk," another girl agreed.

Hemol heard enough and walked away. He saw her face and knew she didn't like Rock. He wondered if he should talk to Rock, but the echo of the dragon calling him Emo came back and chased that away, or he wished he could as he glanced back at her.

Elaine waited to see the dragon afterschool. She watched Kevin walking out of his class, but the dragon was in detention for an hour. She decided to wait since it was the opportunity to give her warning to the dragon.

She waited an hour and lightly smiled when the dragon walked out of his class, clearly in a bad mood with his arms crossed.

"I hate extra class," the dragon grumbled. He stopped when he saw Elaine, "Hello there Elaine. Did you got caught by your teacher and had to endure an hour of torture?"

She didn't smile back and replied, "No. I was waiting."

The dragon was confused and asked, "Waiting for Kevin here?"

"No," she replied as she started walking outside of school, "I was waiting for you."

The way she said that made the dragon a little uneasy since her attitude toward him was different, "What is it?" he wondered as he followed her.

"I have talked with my friends during lunchtime and I learned a few things I didn't like," she started without giving any direct explanation.

"Okay... Was it about Kevin? If yes, then tell me who caused him trouble. I'll make sure they regret it," the dragon declared.

Once they were outside, the school had no one around them with the rain falling from the sky, she stopped and turned around, "Yes. There is someone causing trouble, but that someone is you."

The navy blue dragon stopped, "What? I didn't do anything of the sort. He's by only friend and the best I could ever had and- Oh," he suddenly said in realisation before he sighed, "You learned about my reputation."

"Yes. You are known as the Dead Weight of our school and this is something that is not tolerable in this school," she started before frowning at him, "You know well that grades are everything in this town. The better the results in class, the better the job and the future you have. I will not let anyone drag my little love down, even you. You can ruin his future and maybe his dream job. It's my duty as his girlfriend and future wife to make sure that nothing will stop him from succeeding in life," Elaine declared.

"He doesn't believe that," the dragon replied.

"He came here this year only. He might not fully grasp how the town works. I will make sure he has everything he needs and that everyone dangerous for him is out of his way. So I am asking... No. I order you to end your friendship with my little love for his sake," she ordered.

The dragon frowned and grunted. It was the second time something like that happened, "You think I'll say yes to such order! Kevin is my friend, one of my greatest treasures!"

Elaine looked at the dragon, not out of anger, but satisfaction. She lightly smiled in a twisted way as she said, "I'm glad you refused to listen to reason Rock Dragon," she took a step toward him.

The dragon felt his instinct again, telling him to stay away from that girl, "Oh yeah?"

"When I saw you, I didn't like you, even if I knew little about you. Kevin was talking about you a lot when we dated and I didn't like that. I was pushed aside because you are his friend and he wasn't always thinking about me. I decided to hold back anything I have against you, because I knew he would have me, but since you refused my demands," she grinned, "I don't need to hold back anymore and get rid of you. There is no witness after all," as her gazed turned into a predatory one.

Rock took a step backward and noticed her hair starting to float in an unnatural way when Hemol appeared behind the girl and trapped her in his arms.

"That's enough of you bitch!" the vampire grunted as the girl fought to escape his grasp, "Like I'm going to watch you murder him!"

The dragon gasped when the bat came to help him, "Emo?"

"Don't thank me and-" Elaine hair suddenly covered the vampire bat face and was thrown toward the dragon.

Rock jumped to the left while the bat crashed on the ground. Hemol stood up and spitted hair out of his mouth.

"No one is going to get between me and my little love! You two are a bad influence for Kevin and need to be erased!" with her hair growing longer.

The navy blue dragon turned around and ran away, followed by the vampire bat behind him.

"Come back here!" she yelled at them before giving chase.

Rock took out his cellphone, "I got to call the cops!"

The bat grumbled, "Right. You're going to tell them that a girl with magic hair is going to kill us?"

The dragon didn't like his hidden insult and replied, "Shaquir can help us Emo!"

"Emo!"

"I'm just going to ask-" and quickly realised that will not work. He thought of calling their home, but casted that aside while he didn't know their phone number, "I'll try Kevin," he called his friend while the vampire bat grunted.

"How can he help us? It's his girlfriend who's chasing us!"

While the phone rang, the dragon lightly smiled and said, "Don't worry. If Kevin can't answer, I got a plan," he got his friend phone recorder.

"This is Kevin. I cannot answer the call because I am currently busy so please leave a message."

"Kevin. It's Rock. Elaine is chasing us and wants to kill us with her hair. I know it's crazy, but you got to call your father Shaquir so he can help us at the bridge near the river where I fought Emo. Please believe me!" before hanging up.

"That sounds great! And It's Hemol!" he yelled at the dragon, "Why there?"

"Because I have a plan," the dragon replied before turning to the right.

The vampire bat checked behind him and saw the girl getting a little closer with her long hair ready to destroy them, "Better work or we are dead."

They reached the river and they slid down on the wet grass and were under the bridge. Rock turned around and adjusted his gloves.

"Why you stop?" Hemol said when he joined the dragon.

"We are alone and I got the advantage here with my ice," he replied.

The vampire bat grinned when he knew what he meant, he detached his shadow from his body and waited for the girl.

Elaine was under the rain and slid down, not really out of breath. Despite the rain, her hair was floating in mid-air as she walked closer to them. She stopped when she noticed they weren't running away anymore, "What do you have in mind you two?" she asked, "You are accepting your fate?"

"As if," the bat replied.

The dragon grinned, "I accept my fate. That fate is to beat you crazy girl!" He moved his hands toward her.

The ground was covered with ice when she took a step closer and slid on the ice.

Hemol saw his chance and used his shadow to attack her. His shadow grabbed the collar of her shirt and lifted her in the air before punching her face. She slid on the ground and her hair pierced the ice and grabbed the ground. She stood up and her air changed form and looked like a monster mouth with sharp teeth made of her hair. She frowned at them and said, "Now you ask for it!"

"We are fighting a real witch!" the dragon realised.

"She's just like us," the bat replied just before her hair came and bit his shadow chest. The reaction was immediate and holes appeared on the chest of the demon with his blood leaking under his shirt. He frowned and called back his shadow.

Her hair grabbed the ground and she slid toward them, "Prepare to die!"

Rock created a wall of ice in front of them and she stopped at the last second. The duo took a safe distance from her.

"Your plan suck," the bat commented.

"Shut up Emo! It's better than yours which is nothing!" the navy blue dragon yelled as he thought.

"Hemol!" he yelled back.

The wall of ice broke and Elaine stood there, "Nothing and no one will stand between me and my little love! Now die!"

She charged and her hair came to bite them. Rock didn't lost a second and create a spike of ice. When she was close he threw it toward her. Her demon head hair grabbed the spike of ice and threw it back at the dragon, right toward his heart. The vampire bat pulled the dragon against him, saving his life.

"No comment," the humanoid bat ordered.

"She's good," the dragon commented as he gulped.

"Her hair has range and knows how to use it well," he frowned, "There is nothing to help us here."

She watched them with a grin when she saw their morale decreasing.

Around ten minutes earlier, Kevin was continuing to study in the living room of his home for an upcoming test with the TV on. He eventually went to the bathroom and it was then that his cellphone rang. The boy heard it, but didn't hear the message left, but recognised his friend voice. When he came back, he listened to the message, "Kevin. It's Rock. Elaine is chasing us and wants to kill us with her hair. I know it's crazy, but you got to call your father Shaquir so he can help us at the bridge near the river where I fought Emo. Please believe me!"

The boy was silent when he heard the message. His hands were lightly trembling when the message completely sunk in, the dragon said that his girlfriend wants to kill him and other people. He knew her and couldn't believe it, but at the same time, it was his best friend and knew he could never say something like that without a reason. After one minute, he stood up and said, "There is only one thing to do."
