Prologue: Shadows Keep Attacking
I know many of you are thinking as you click on this little title here. "Some pastor's son or other religious nut job is about to go babbling on to me about his beliefs or crazy conspiracies about the world ending". Understand that not only is this something I would not normally write, but this is something that's not natural for me to write. Oh, I'm not a pastor's son, and religious nut jobs bore me.
I'm going to foreword this little essay (or book, whatever you want to call it) by telling you what you already know: this country, no, this world is crazy. Don't believe me? Look at who we've got running for office. No, better yet, turn on your local news. I'll bet you a big sum (In imaginary currency, of course) that involves either a horrible disaster of some sort (think fire, shooting, etc.).
I'd assume the first question you'd ask would be something akin to "why is this happening?" Or, "why me?". I can't answer that personally. At least not specifically. But I assure you, there is one, and only one, that is behind all of this madness. Or rather, there is One that knows everything that is happening, and I mean absolutely everything. Before we get to who that somebody is, I want to give you a picture of just who is writing this. Let me rephrase that, I want you to get a picture of who is being used to write this.
I won't get into specifics, because I know how the Internet has a tendency to spread every bit of your life around like a virus for all to see. I'm 21. I'm far from a religious scholar. In fact, I'm probably the last one you'd find quoting Scripture. At the time of this writing, I'm finishing up my time in junior-college. Believe me, most of the time, I prefer to stay in the background. In fact, if you met me on the street, I would barely acknowledge your existence. Mind you, that's not out of uncaring or hatred or anything. That's just one of the many struggles that God chooses for me that I may rely on him.
As a last note for this time, I plan to serialize this. I haven't decided on a fixed date, but I will announce something soon. Until next time!
