p class="MsoNormal"strongOne shot I had floating around in my head because we all need a little cute stuff at some points. Everything here belongs to me./strong/p

p class="MsoNormal""What the heck is wrong?" He asked, gripping her wrists. "You've been... off for weeks now. Will you just talk to me?"/p
p class="MsoNormal"She rolled her eyes, tugging her hands away from him. "Nothing's wrong." She pushed him into the easy chair in their living room and sat down on his lap. Grabbing the remote she switched the TV on, attention on the screen, no longer thinking about what they'd just discussed. She grinned. One of her favorite comedies was on TV./p
p class="MsoNormal""C'mon." He took her left hand and tugged at her ring finger. "You've been off since I…"/p
p class="MsoNormal""Asked?" She filled in, eyes on him again./p
p class="MsoNormal"He nodded, eyes fixated on her bare finger an uncharacteristic moment of insecurity shining through before it was gone and he looked up at her with determined eyes. "I just need to know what I've done wrong so I can fix it. I don't care if you don't want to marry me as long as we can just go back to being em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"us/em."/p
p class="MsoNormal"She sighed into him, ducking her head. "Ugh, can you trust me that nothing's wrong? Seriously, we're fine. It's just—"/p
p class="MsoNormal""Just what?" He turned her face towards him./p
p class="MsoNormal"She pinched her lips together from him. "Just—Just I always thought—Ugh, seriously, it's stupid. Nothing's wrong."/p
p class="MsoNormal""Obviously something is. What is it? You always have this look on your face now."/p
p class="MsoNormal"She stared at the TV for a few moments, not seeing the show. She knew she needed to tell him, had in fact been planning on it but didn't really want to. "Ugh, I just—I always thought that—don't get… stupid, okay?" She looked at him. "Just, my first isn't going to be my last."/p
p class="MsoNormal""Oh." His face shuttered doing exactly what she hadn't wanted. He was always terribly good at hiding his emotions./p
p class="MsoNormal""No," she pushed against him. "Not like that. Ugh, I said that wrong. I just mean—I thought that my first would be like you know, with someone I cared for but then I would have someone else, I just thought I would get more experience. Want more experience. I never believed in any of that hype that I needed to save myself for marriage or that men like it when they're a girls first. That's bullshit." She looked him straight in the eye. His face was still blank but his hands were tight against hers once again, eyes narrowed. "I just never thought that my first… would be my last."/p
p class="MsoNormal"His mouth popped open, eyes lighting up. Sitting up in the chair he held her in his lap so she wouldn't fall off. "Does that mean—"/p
p class="MsoNormal""It doesn't mean that I'm going to marry you yet." She said quickly. "It doesn't mean that I'm saying yes." She gripped his forearms, a soft but pleased sigh escaping her lips as she looked at the man that she couldn't even tell exactly when had captured her heart. She smiled. "But yeah."/p
