Studying, not Studying

A/N: Since the first slash one-shot worked out so well, here is another! This one is a little more romantically intimate but not too risqué. Any feedback is appreciated. Please enjoy!

Souji couldn't understand. He knew that his college entrance exams were fast approaching. He knew that he had to give it his all if he wanted to succeed. And yet, when he was inside his room, looking through his books and notepad with only a lamp to accompany him from the darkness, something was amiss.

His writing hand was cramping from four hours of use. His back was aching. His eyes were blurry. Souji needed a break. A long break. But, the black-haired teenager couldn't slack off. He just had to keep going. His future depended on it. He rested his head on the small table in front of him. It was no use. He couldn't survive with sheer willpower alone.

Just then, someone entered inside his room. The figure was a boy a year older than him and wore a tight, grey sweatshirt and jeans. He had a more casual side of him than Souji. His ruffled dirty blonde hair made him look like a rock star and the ear piercings certainly helped that image. His laid-back appearance was something that attracted Souji the moment he first met him as a first year at high school.

"Souji, I'm back."

"Oh, Gin. Welcome back."

The casual lad delivered a hug from behind Souji as he peered at his work.

"How is studying going?" Gin asked.

"It's…fine," Souji lied.

Gin released his glasses wearing friend and noticed how stiff his body was. His shoulders were upright. His back was leaning forward. The neat short black hair was slightly frazzled and uncombed. It was the first time the blonde teen seen Souji in such a stressed state.

"Your posture says otherwise, stud."

The 18 year old lad sighed with defeat. He should've known Gin seen right through him. His tired eyes finally looked up at the blonde lad.

"You could already tell?" Gin chuckled lightly.

"How many years have I been dating you?"

"2 years…?"

"And there you have it."

The uptight student placed his pencil down and rubbed the temples of his head.

"I can't focus," Souji admitted. "I've been at this for a week and I'm running out of steam."

Gin placed a hand on his chin and sat on the bed. It wasn't uncommon for someone to cram in as much school work as possible for the most dreaded day. The entrance exams were a serious matter for those who wanted to get in a prestigious college. But, Souji always took studying seriously, even if it was just an assignment about creating poetry.

"Well, maybe you should stop studying for a while," Gin suggested. "Take a break and do something fun."

The hardworking student's face shaped into a puzzled look.

"What?" Souji exclaimed. "Gin, you're asking the impossible here!"

"Maybe, but the exams don't start until May 1st, right? That's three weeks from now! You still have plenty of time."

The boy with the sliver framed glasses sighed and shook his head.

"It's complicated than that. You wouldn't understand." Gin crossed his arms and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"Try me."

Souji scratched the back of his head turned his chair around to face the other.

"Well, I've been taught to plan ahead time. To be at the top of my game. And it's all thanks to my mother. She's been through this before and couldn't make it to where she wanted to go. She had to settle, Gin. I don't want to just settle with what's right in front of me."

Gin smiled and kneeled over towards the worrywart Souji.

"I think I know the feeling. You want to aim higher than your mother, right? That's how I was when I wanted to take up being a musician. I didn't want to just go along with a boring career my old man wanted for me."

Souji smiled, placing an assuring hand on top of Gin's.

"But, you're right, though. I should take a break. There's no use getting burnt out so soon."

"What do you have in mind?"

"I don't know. I mean, do I even know what fun is anymore?"

The 19 year old laughed and ruffled Souji's already messy hair.

"How about you take a quick shower and we can go out to eat? You reek of stress anyway."

"Geez, thanks!"

The younger teen lightly punched his companion's arm. Gin stuck his tongue out in playful mockery.

"I'll just slip into something is all."

Souji went to the closet to find a set clothes to wear outside. However, the corner of his eye spotted a mirror. He looked at himself and his eyes widened with bewilderment. His was a complete mess. Those four hours of studying really did a number on him.

"Oh, on second thought, I better get in the shower. I look hideous."

"I'll wait at the living room."

And so, Souji enjoyed a hot and relaxing shower. All of his stress and frustration was slowly washing away with the water down the drain. After a few minutes, Souji showed up in the living room with a crimson long sleeved crimson shirt and black cropped trousers and sneakers.

"I'm ready to go if you are, Gin." The other boy grinned and pointed towards the door like a knight declaring war on a warlord.

"Alright, to the café!"

However, their date would come to an end before it even started. There was a loud booming sound from outside. Gin looked from the window and there was a flash of light that briefly blinded his vision. A torrent of rain began to drop down from the grey clouds.

"You've got to be kidding…"

"A storm? Now?!" An exasperated Souji exclaimed.

"Well, so much for going out to eat."

The two boys sat down at the couch, contemplating on what to do next. The blonde one noticed a change in his boyfriend's posture. He was more relaxed. He sat more properly and closed his eyes in a relaxed expression. Also, his combed down hair had made him more attractive. Gin couldn't imagine a better time to make a move. It had been a while since they've had any action, with exams starting and whatnot.

"I think I know what you need." Souji glanced at Gin with curious black eyes.

"Oh, really? What's that?"

Gin's lips leaned in towards Souji's ear, whispering,

"This."

Just then, Gin nibbled on his lover's ear, his hot breath tickling it. Then, his hands hugged Souji's waist, closing the distance. The black-haired teen moaned softly, one of his hands trying to push Gin back.

"G-Gin…not now."

"Yes, now. We've got this house all to ourselves. Your parents are on late shifts. So, let's make the most of it."

"Y-you're right," Souji admitted. "But...!"

The blonde rock star wannabe moved down on the lad's neck, sending butterfly kisses around the nape. Souji arched his head forward, giving Gin more access. His protests were now thrown out the window.

"S-shit!"

The younger boy's hands found their way to Gin's sweatshirt, hastily unzipping it.

Without skipping a beat, one of Gin's hands slipped into Souji's dark red shirt and unbuttoned it slowly. He snaked his hand on Souji's bare chest, invoking an aroused moan from the black haired student. Then, Souji's other hand brushed against the center of Gin's jeans, eliciting a groan of need from the blonde.

"H...haaaa...!" Gin shuddered, enjoying the enticing contact from his boyfriend's hand. "Keep going..."

Wanting to hear more sexy moans, Souji sunk his hand, unzipped the jeans, and went further down. He kept rubbing onto his lover's center until he felt something big and pointy growing within the fabric constraints.

But then, the booming sound of thunder and lightning startled the boys. The couple stopped to take a good look at each other's faces, sweating and blushing from the heated and intimate tension.

"Maybe we should thank the weather man for the mistake." Gin quipped.

"I agree," Souji agreed with a laugh.

After healthy share of laughing, the boys continued. Their lips connected into a loving kiss as their hands were clinging to each other's bodies.

Suddenly, the black-haired boy pushed Gin down on the couch. He swiftly took off his sliver framed glasses, placing them down on the nearby nightstand. From that point, Gin already knew that the other boy meant business whenever he removed his specs.

"Forget about exams," Souji said with sultry tone. "It's time I studied on a better topic."

"Oh?" Gin asked with a knowing smirk. "And what would that be?"

Souji sunk down and engulfed Gin's lips in another passionate tongue-kiss.

"Your body."
