Like always Roy knew what to say, to answer their questions correctly and was able to win them over and become partners. Throughout the meeting Zipporah and Ariel were busy taking notes of the meeting and important details about the other company. With the meeting over Zipporah began to organize her papers before turning them over to Roy. However she was interrupted by a cretin blond barging into her office.

"Can I help you Ariel?" Zipporah mumbled keeping her eyes on her work.

"If it includes quitting right now then yes that would be great." Zipporah sighed and looked up. Ariel stood right in front of her desk, her hands folded and eyes glaring at Zipporah. "We both know that Roy has no need for two PC's, and seeing that you don't have a penny to your name you don't deserve to be here!" Ariel said.

Zipporah arched an eyebrow and her lips pulled into a smirk. "Really, because unlike you I have a degree, graduated top of my class and got this job the very day I was interviewed. Whereas you...can't do nothing, hasn't done nothing and only got the job with your DADDY'S money! Meaning you've done NOTHING YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!" Her smirk has disappeared. Leaving an angry scowl and burning eyes.

Ariel was taken back by her words, left speechless for a few seconds, then she tried to put up a brave front. "How dare you! I am fully capable of taking care of myself!" She shouted.

"And yet here you are throwing a temper tantrum!" Said Zipporah. "So if you don't mind," Zipporah walked around to the door and opened it. "I have a lot of work to do right now and I don't need any distractions. So why don't you go order some lunch for Roy and the other board members." Ariel's face lit up like a red tomato and stormed out of the office.

The rest of the day Zipporah spent reviewing the next few months, not realizing how late it became. With a sigh she finished organizing her last file, turned off her computer and left her office. On her way out she saw a light in Roy's office still on.

She politely knocked on the door earning a unemotional grunt. Roy looked up from his computer and smiled. "Still here I see."

"Yeah, just wanted to get a few things in order for the next few months. With the merge there's a few dates that need to change. There are in here if you want to take a look." Zipporah said as she handed him a folder.

"Thanks, I'll take a look at them in the morning." He sighed placing the file in his satchel. "Well, why don't I drive you home, it's probably not safe for you to take the train."

Zipporah arched an eyebrow and smirked. "I can handle myself thank you very much!"

Roy raised his hands in a defending manner and chuckled. "Believe me! I've known you since we were kids and you're no pushover." He stood up and grabbed his coat. "But I don't mind, seeing that my home isn't far away from yours. Plus there's something I want to talk to you about something." Zipporah agreed and they head toward the garage where his 2017 E300 Sedan was waiting.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Zipporah asked.

"Well, our new partners gave me a last minute invitation to his daughter's wedding in a few weeks. And it's on a cruise."

"Oh wow, sounds exciting!"

"Yeah, and I'm allowed to bring a few guests with, I was wondering if you would like to go?"

"A-are you serious?! I mean I would love to go but...I'm not sure if I want to leave with my mother in such a condition."

"Yeah...I understand. How is she doing?"

Zipporah gave him a small smile. "Better than last week. And the bills are becoming less and less stressful to pay."

Roy smiled back at her. "That's wonderful! Your mother is an incredible woman and I can't picture letting her sickness get the best of her!"

"Ha! You're right about that! I plan on visiting her this weekend and you're welcome to visit her. I think she misses you." They laughed as they looked back to the memories of the two families spending barbecues together, birthdays and holiday dinners before her mother was hospitalized.

"I will definitely come in for a visit! With everything that's been going on I need her humor to unwind!"

"Awesome, we can go during lunch tomorrow if you're fine with that?" Roy asked.

"That would be perfect. I'll call my dad and tell him we'll be there." Said Zipporah. They finally reached her apartment complex but before she got out of the car Roy caught her hand.

"Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work these past two years. With your mother in the hospital and dealing Ariel. You're basically the only ADULT I can trust! And made mergers much less stressful." He said making Zipporah smile and her face heat up.

"Oh come on! Its you that's brought this company back from the grave and gave it life!" She exclaimed.

"Huh, yeah well...hiring you was the God send I needed...and my offer still stands." He pressed.

But Zipporah shook her head. "Please don't, I have no need for any extra money. I'm fine with my pay since you've raised it after the first three months since you've hired me!" Roy was about to protest but Zipporah beat him to it. "OK, how about I go with you to the wedding?" She asked.

Eyebrows raised with surprised Roy smiled. "I'll take that! You are a very stubborn women so I guess this is the best I deal from you I can get!"

"Ha, sorry Mr. Miller, you'll have to work really heard in order for me to agree to a deal!" She smirked. Saying their goodnights Zipporah jumped out of his car and climbed up the stairs to her apartment.

Now inside she quickly jumped into the shower and changed into an oversize t-shirt and black sweat pants. Jumping into bed and flipped the TV. on to watch a random crappy romance movie, a large bowl of popcorn in her lap. Unconsciously eating her snack until it was gone and watched three whole episodes of...whatever the name of the show. In the corner of her eye she saw her phone flashing, letting her know she received a text. Looking at the ID she smiled when it was her father giving her the OK for a visit for her mother tomorrow. Sending Roy a quick text Zipporah plugged her phone in, turned off the TV and went to sleep.
