I found myself looking to the horizon. The sky was as eerie grey in color, the city beneath it was dead. No street lights, no building lights. Only the rubble leftover from the war. You can see the entire cityscape from this mountain top. See all the bodies burning in their piles. The remnants of the living still littered the streets, but all of the souls were gone. Only left were those, staring at the silver lining. When the sun goes down this time, there is nothing left. Moving in silent packs is the only way to survive, keeping watch for the destroyers. Once you escape the city, there is no looking back.
