Nothing comes from my mouth as people cheer.
I am silent, as silent as a fox
Slowly walking, smiling so they won't leer
Please help me, I'm trapped in a mental box.
Maybe they'll forget, my problems dissolved,
But they will not, I know they won't forget.
This is my journey and it just evolved.
I tell my eyes to not make my face wet.
My reputation is destroyed, broken.
Still walking, still smiling, acting as though
Nothing's wrong, but the problem's unspoken.
Onto the stage, my dignity in tow.
Second place is good, only not to them;
They wanted more, I just satisfied some.
