So it seems my first book "The Pirate's Legacy: New Beginnings" has not only been plagiarized but also profited off of without my consent. Some so-called "author" named D W Towle took my work, changed up ONLY the names of characters, put up a Kickstarter and other crowdfunding websites (so also bilking poor donors of money for stolen material), but then decided to publish my first book, MY BABY, off Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Walmart, and who knows where.

Let me be clear: I am an Asian American female. This author, based on his profile that I was able to find, is a WHITE male profiting off of a person of color, once again perpetuating the vicious cycle of white males taking artwork from people of color to make a profit out of their hard work.

I will not stand for this.

And unfortunately, dear readers, I will have to take down all of my work except for the first chapter.

You can find where he profited off of my work. He renamed the book "The Mermaid's Tear: Tales of Tortuga". How quaint.
