The Devil Rides An Alluring Stallion

When bitter winds blow,
& the days grow short,
He comes riding.

He gallops,
He shrieks,
He calls.

The words are calming,
They call to you,
Echoing through eternity.

A lone rider on the plains of time,

Gallops through the halls of kings,
Claiming the souls of those deemed unworthy.

Eyes filled with ravenous hunger,

He feeds on the damned.
Drags them to hell, screaming.

Battle-worn he stands.
Cloaked in the souls of the fallen,
& surveying his great victory.

Suffering!

Agony!

Despair!

The words are calming,
They call to you,
Echoing through eternity.

You follow him,
Lead into euphoria,

Tranquil bliss.
