To Never Lose Yourself If there's anything most important I learned in this world, it is to never, ever lose yourself trying to please everyone and keep up with the standards of the norm and society. We are all different and if you're different makes you weird or eccentric, don't be ashamed of this. Go ahead and live it. You are like that for a reason, more so because of what you are destined to be in this world, in this lifetime. To my fellow Sanguines: If everyone is black and white, and you find yourself wanting to "paint the town red", then be that vibrant color and brighten, or should I say, stir things up! If everyone is going the straight line and you're itching to veer away, then go ahead and do zigzag. That certainly makes an interesting path and how you'd come around it. If everyone is quiet and the silence is, ironically deafening to your ears, then hum or sing a tune to lighten up the atmosphere. If everyone is rigid, standing straight and you're getting antsy, then by all means, step away and dance like no one is watching. If everyone is frowning, with mouths in a straight grim line, just say, "Hey Smile!" and let out that bubbly laughter you've always been known for. Wherever you are and whatever you do, just don't ever forget who you really are. This keeps you grounded and sane in this all too cynical and cruel world. You may not realize it but if you really think about it, it is actually your saving grace. So forget about what others think and focus on you this time: who you truly are and what you truly want to be. Life is too short. Let that person out, it is the real you yearning to do the things you really love. Be yourself. Only then will you truly be free and happy. hazel 03.11.2022
