Across the multiverse one being reaches one world. But out of all the worlds in said multiverse, one seems the most interesting: Earth!
However, instead of arriving in a space ship of their own, they arrive in either mind-uploading or teleporting.
AS they beam down to Earth, their presence was picked up by scientists and brought them to where the scientists are, a remote facility outside Kelowna B.C.
As soon as the alien is summoned by the scientists, they talk to the alien, but the alien types in it's native language, leaving the scientists to download a dictionary to let the alien learn on their own.
After a full minute of nothing, the alien starts typing in english, french, Chinese and Punjabi, telling in mathematical expression.
For example:
"Proclamation: Fellow greetings, sentient beings of planet SOL 3. Query: sentient beings is directed to respond by stating its appellation."
When the scientists introduce themselves as humans of Earth, the alien then says:
"Reply: Self-appellation designed for utilization by simple beings equals Axloni."
After each others' introduction, The Axloni gives the humans instructions to create a body for the alien to properly interact with them. After doing so, The Axloni was reborn as a human baby. However, as time passes by as weeks instead of years, the baby has now become a teenager. At this time, however, there have been some attacks in the city of Kelowna, outside the facility. In one of the battles The RCMP engage an unusual group of criminals, they're fighting with beam guns! The RCMP manages to quell the criminals but soon sees the bodies melt away: They're were aliens!
Out of the reluctance, one of the officers calls one of the scientists at the facility who's his husband. Naturally, the scientists allowed him in as well as bringing in the beam guns as evidence, maybe even reverse-engineer them to counter the new threat from beyond.
While this is all happening, The Axloni wishes to go out to the rest of the world, or at least to Kelowna. However, the Axloni feels strange while using their human body.
Despite objections from the scientists, The Axloni escaped sneakily anyway in a ghostly form.
As they wander into the city, they decide speaking with mathematical expression would confuse the populace. So mute would be their best choice.
As they adapt to the city's life style, they question how humanity has made it this far? So they went to the library to learn about their history, in intense detail. Though of course they can stay in the library for the rest of their life; they need to find a place to live. Once they found one, they stay for the night. Unbeknownst to the Axloni, alien invaders are planning to kill them and take the city for themselves, possibly the world. And if that fails, they'll launch an asteroid towards the planet, seeing that if they can't have this world, then they might as well go all out with a big bang.
The next morning, the Axloni return to the library to study more, but the invaders intercept, only for the Axloni to teleport away. As the Axloni learn of our history, they slowly become more powerful. Even in death, they'll be reborn as a Star Ghost, according to Axloni religion, they become the most powerful beings in the multiverse; exactly like gods of many religions.
This, soon becomes a reality as the invaders, police and scientists arrive just as the Axloni departs. A gunfight ensues, with the Axloni killed in the crossfire and the police fending off the alien invaders. As stated before, The Axloni becomes a Star Ghost, erasing the invaders from existence and ascending into space. As feared, the invaders have sent an asteroid from their universe towards earth, but the Star Ghost deflects it, sending it back into deep space where it'll do no harm. They then teleport to their universe and demands their surrender. When they refuse, The Star Ghost uses their powers to destroy most of the invasion fleet, finally surrendering to the alien god.
With that, the Star Ghost departs across the multiverse, having fulfilled their duty.
