Shin Lin watched a few more videos. Each time he finished a file, the Outsider announced that he went closer and closer. He stopped checking it and just went on. He didn't care about the threat. He reached the last file: The Outsiders.
He pressed on it and watched.
File 4: The Outsiders
29 April 1812
The date already made the heart of the man twisted.
Shin Lin's mother was on screen, "Hello Shin. I know you probably will find the box in our room if something happened to us."
"Yeah. I got your will and the house," the man sighed sadly. He cleaned his face as he noticed he began to cry a little again. He missed his parents.
"And we just hoped you aren't trying to do the 'right thing' as you usually do," she let out a nervous smile.
"Sorry mom. I'm doing exactly that."
She sighed sadly, as if she heard his answer. She just knew right then that he would do the 'right thing', "We have a feeling you won't listen to us. Anyway, you are going to live near Astrio, so we have to give many of our knowledges of those Outsiders. We know you are quite capable, but without those knowledges, you might be in danger. You already know that the OCCS cannot be trusted."
"Yeah."
She gave a serious face, "First. OCCS. The full name was never revealed to the public and we didn't find out what this means. This acronym is surely not something good or it would have been public. They cannot be trusted as they had many secret projects. We didn't find anything when we had the chance and we have a target on our back."
"This… This was the last thing you recorded before the accident," Shin realised with the date. He watched the light that the camera revealed. He guessed they made the video in the morning.
She raised her hand and showed two fingers, "Second. The Outsiders are dangerous, but you know that already. In the city, you will only find Outsiders in their fourth phase. They are too many people that live in the city and it's too dangerous for the three previous phases."
"Two blob phases and a really twisted third one," he thought back.
"The previous phases are too vulnerable to deal and handle so many humans. When it comes to speed, they are much slower without legs to jump and run," she crossed her arms for a few seconds, thinking of her next word. She sighed and went on, "If you are in the city, you will have to survive the powerful and smart Outsiders. Despite that, they have weaknesses. Like-"
The video heavily glitched for a few seconds.

"Those are mostly guesses we made," his mother went on. She put her hand on her wrist, "They also have two main mental states. Their usual one and the other one. Their usual mental states are the one where they live their usual live, they hunt and devour humans. The other one is when they snapped under-"
"Again!"
The video heavily glitched.
"That Outsiders is censoring everything," it was the first time that bastard that was outside pulled that out often in a file.
Nonono. No Knowledge for you Shin Lin.
"Afraid are ya?"
No. But you will be soon enough. You will crack.
Shin wondered how he could hear him. Unless the Outsider read his mind right now.
The video went on, "They are many Outsiders in the city. We estimate a hundred. When you need to go shopping, do go to an alleyway. Shin Lin. Promise us you will watch your sister if something happens to us."
"I can't. They took her before I could find her," he apologised.
"And this is it, Shin. I hope nothing bad will happen to us," she gave a resigned smile on her face, "Just be careful when you live here and don't die."
"I have no intention to die mom."
His father talked, "I have one thing to tell you son. You know you cannot count on the OCCS, so you better be ready to protect yourself on your own."
"I know."
"As for the Outsiders, remember that-" it glitched again.
Nonono. No knowledge for you Shin Lin.
"You're repeating yourself."
By the way, you won't find that knowledge if you try to watch it again.
The image went back to normal, "Son. Remember that we love you and we are proud of what you become."
"Good-bye."
After the parents said that, the video came to an end.
Shin Lin felt sad that his parents were gone for more than a year now. He sighed. At least, he managed to find a few important things sin those files.

The man gazed at the window and saw the silver face of the Outsider, almost pressing it on the window.
The Outsider red eyes shined as he showed a large smile, showing his red fangs. He drooled a little as he showed his longue tongue and licked his lips.
Shin approached the window and looked in the eyes of the Outsider. He frowned for a few seconds. He flipped him off.
As he closed the window, the intruder was taken aback with that reaction. His mouth slightly dropped as his eyes shrunk, before the window blinds covered the window. Once it was done, Shin went to sleep.
