At times, she left her potatoes
To their own devices

Not the first time
And, certainly, won't be the last time

Potatoes are fascinating
Well, actually, tubers are fascinating
But, still

She left them alone for a bit
And came back to find them sprouted

Perhaps, they're not so fitting to eat
No, not really, especially some looked greenish

Still, she left her potatoes to their own devices
And so opted to deal with the result of this action
Another addition to her garden
