She would muse on this
Answering thusly

She knew humans
Inasmuch as she could know humans
(Psychology can only explain so much)

However, she knew animals more
(understood them more, rather, if anything else)

She'd pick the bear
At least, the bear would make it quick
(it wouldn't be pretty but it'd be quick)

Animals operate on instincts
Humans operate on premeditation
That's the distinction

And it's a massive one

Picking the bear would be wise
And she knew why.
