"I brought you a drink."

Nimbus was jolted out of his thoughts when he saw Javi, carrying what looked like a hollowed coconut in each hand, complete with straws and little cocktail umbrellas.

Nimbus was occupying the only folding chair, so Javi passed him his drink and sat on the ground. But after a moment, Nimbus stood up from the chair and elected to sit next to him on the sand. It was a warm and humid night, typical for Camp Ventallan, but the sky was clear.

"We have coconuts here? Food-safe ones?" Nimbus asked in awe.

Javi knocked on the shell with his fist, right between the eyes of the face someone had drawn on it, and it made a dull sound. "They're plastic."

Nimbus took a sip, then gave an approving nod. "I didn't know you could mix drinks."

Javi smirked. "I know enough to not poison ya, at least. Anything goes now that the campers are sleeping."

The wind picked up, causing the beach umbrella above them to sway. Nimbus held out his hand, and felt the first warm raindrops begin to fall. "Is that the weather machine?" he asked.

Javi shook his head. "Sorry, I turned it off right after the challenge. I can go switch it on, it could get rid of this real quick."

But Nimbus grabbed his arm before he could get up. "You can leave it. I like the rain."
