When you were extinguished,

I sighed, cried, and wept

That's how it made me felt

As I missed your presence

Though it gave me sadness

Then it gave me silence

Still I strive with perseverance

So I express my words with poetic substance

Given as the world can fall down

The sun can go down

The sky can break down

Though, peace can go around

Yet, still I have my own caring sound

As I still keep my head up high

Waiting to hear your call close by

It aches me to wonder if it's from afar

Or if it's a sound that keeps playing

Like a sitar

You always had a style that stood out

An inspiration for my vision, no doubt

You were a modeler, that built a legacy

A family of creators, that's apart of me

Although you're gone, I miss your presence

You gave me confidence and grit, that was the essence

Up in the airspace, you with grandma, lindy hopping and wylin'

But to me, I hope you're looking down from the sky and smilin'
