Cool air touches the bare flesh
Chilling the bones as it passes like an iron mesh
Jackets become necessary
Plants start to cease like the ones with berries
That vibrant green disappears
A game for some is now hunting deer
The ground now crunches beneath the feet
Autumn is now what people meet
Brown, red, orange, and gold
These colors are now so bold
Apples and grapes are now here
Their bitter tastes put taste buds in full gear
Summer has now left
It's what some have dreamt
Suddenly a creepiness is surrounding things
Howls of dangerous creatures ring
The full moons looks more eerie
People become, of their own shadows, weary
Pumpkin carvings scare
Hold a jack-o-lantern up to the ear if ya dare
Goths now look normal
Everything is arising in turmoil
Everyone knows what these feelings mean
A holiday is on the brink and it's Halloween
