Author's note: I should have done this months ago, but I have disable the pms on here. I got so many pms from artists that it was making it hard to focus on my story which only has two chapters. Most of the pms seem to come after I post a chapter. With that being said, do not leave me a review about you doing cover art for my stories. As a matter of fact don't leave a review about doing a comic for my stories. I have no plans or interest for a cover art/comic for any of my stories. I am not paying for it either so Stop it. You can leave reviews of how you enjoy it.

Alex's pov

Alex was behind the counter at Le Melville, it was almost 12:30. So the shift would be ending soon. Sure there was tables that was filled with couples or a group of friends, but there was a bar so that the people waiting for a table could find a seat to wait. But there were people just come in to find a drink but not to eat, they also come to listen and dance to the live music. Live Music happens Tuesdays though Fridays, those were his favorite days to work in La Melville. Jazz Music was also fun to listen to as well as the most fun to watch people dancing. More so when they dressed in 1920s clothes, Fridays were the days that most people dressed up 1920s clothing. It was the one day that the management let the workers were 1920 clothing.

That was one of few reasons of why Alex noticed the young woman enter Le Melville, for she was among the few that was not dressed in flapper clothing. Another reason was her walking toward the bar and stopped for a few seconds upon noticing the clothing with a clear look of confusion on her beautiful face. Than she resumed her walk to the bar before sitting down on one of the stools next to one of the drunkest men in the bar. The drunk was a regular at the Le Melville, Alex never learned his name but he didn't care for the man.

Alex noticed out of the corner of his eyes that Richard had stepped inside to look around before Richard spotted the woman. Looking away that Richard meet Alex's eyes and nodded telling Alex to look out for this woman. Richard stepped back out from and let the door slightly open telling Alex to get hime if something were to occur. Alex wasn't sure what happened out in front of Le Melville but it was clear that someone needed to look out for this woman, at least for the moment.

Keeping on an eye on her as he poured out some drinks that were ordered by a group of college students. Her dirty blond hair was mid way down her back, it was curly and loose. Her blue eyes were looking around, as if waiting for something to happen, like she expected to be followed in by someone she doesn't want to see or talk to. Her dress was a deep blue color that matched her eyes, that made her eyes stood out even more. The dress ended just below her knees, the dress had straps oppose to sleeves. It looked like she came from a high end party as opposed to a nightclub restaurant with a 1920s theme.

Alex focus more on finishing the last drink of the order before giving the drink order to the waiter the was waiting for it. Just as the waiter left was when Alex notice the movement out of the corner of his eyes, turning he saw the drunk trying to make a move on the woman but she clearly didn't want to flirt or even kiss him. She was shaking her head as the drunk said something. He couldn't blame her, whispering to the bartender next to him to get Richard that Alex walked over to that end of the bar where the two patrons were. He grabbed the drunk's hand before the drunk could try to kiss her or go anything further with the woman.

"That is enough sir."

"No it is not enough, she was asking for a kiss." The Drunk's leering was disturbing, it didn't help the Drunk's features.

"No. She didn't ask for it."

"Sure she did."

Alex raised his eye brow before he spoke. "No. She did not ask for a kiss or anything else. I was watching and she clearly told you no." Thankfully Richard was walking over as Alex spoke.

"I am sure you are mistaken, if you look at the recordings of the camera that she said . . . ." Just than Richard's hand was on the drunk's shoulder, the drunk turned around to tell the person off only to turn pale at the sight of Richard. Richard had tossed the drunk out too many times now from being too drunk or to flirty to a woman who didn't want it.

"I bet you were going to say that she was rejecting you. You are coming with me now. Don't complain, not that but this is your last visit to Le Melville."

The drunk didn't respond but he was sober very quickly, he had been told the last time he was here and got drunk that if he did something else that he would be banned from Le Melville. It was sure luck and chance that no one else noticed what just happened, Alex had hopped that the kicking out for the last time would be more dramatic. Looking at the woman that Alex knew the woman was glad it didn't go anything further, that it was not a dramatic scene. The type of scene of where the whole place goes quiet and that she was the center of the the attention. She was clearly relieved that it had ended.

"Are you all right miss?"

Looking up at him that he couldn't help notice his blue her eyes were, he had notice that feature but they seem bluer than before. Not only that, Alex realized that she was only a little younger than he was. No older than 22 and no younger than 20. As he looked at her face that he thought she looked oddly familiar to him like he had seen her face somewhere before.

"I am better now."

With a look of surprise, but he quickly managed to recover from the look, when the woman spoke with an American accent. Alex took a glass down from the shelves and put some water in it. "Here drink some, it should help." The woman looked at the glass trying to decided to drink it. "It is just water miss." Picking up the glass up, she took a sip before setting it back down.

"Thank you . . . " She looked at misname tag. "Alex."

"You are welcome." There was a moment of silence. "Do you have someone to pick you up?"

"No, I decided to walk back to my apartment but that was a mistake."

Alex tilted his head. "If you don't mind, I can drive you home after my shift ends in about half hour when we close the place down."

The woman looked at him in surprise. "You wouldn't mind?"

"I don't mind."

More like forty minutes, when all the customers left that Alex was able to leave Le Melville with the woman. For some reason he hadn't ask her name, even though she knows his and that was only because of the name tag. Thankfully they didn't put last names or titles on name tags. He shuddered to think of what the name would be on the tag if it was so. Though his family last name was Blackthorne, while not very common, it was not uncommon either. He couldn't even begin to imagine of what might happen for his tag says Prince of the UK or Prince of Wales.

He was the heir to the throne, but he has yet to have the title of Prince of Wales. The onyx reason he doesn't have the title yet was because Alex wanted to have a normalish kind of life before he take this duties on full time. Though it didn't help that a week after he arrived in Paris that his younger sister had left the UK without anyone knowing about it. It has been six years since she went missing, living who knows where. There times in the last four years that Alex started to wonder if she was not alive any more. Shaking his head of his thoughts about his life in the Uk, Alex went over to the woman.

"Are you ready to go home?"

She nodded and followed him to his car, a sedan. A white Honda Accord EX-L, it was his everyday car here in Paris. He likes this everyday car but he also likes his other car that was in Paris. Of which was a Blue Ferrari F430 Scuderia, that he drives to events or appearance that he does as Prince of the UK. Sometimes he would just take it out to drive, to go out the country for time alone when he doesn't have a shift at the Le Melville. His job at FIP was everyday, while his job at Le Melville was not.

Alex unlocked the doors before he went to the passenger side and opened the door for her. The woman a little surprised but climbed in while muttering a thank you. Closing the door behind her that walked to the driver's side, Alex climbed in. Starting the car and pulling out that Alex finally spoke to the woman.

"Where do you live?"

She gave him the address and started giving him directions before Alex told her that he knows where that is. Since he had been here long enough to know Paris very well. Though he knows London much better than he does Paris. Pulling in the parking lot closest to the apartment Alex got out of the car name helped the woman out before walking her to her door. The woman unlocked the door before she turned back to Alex.

"Thank you again, Alex." The woman raised her hand to shake, instead Alex took her hand and kissed it.

"I don't mind helping you tonight but you're welcome." The woman blushed bright red Making Alex smile. She turned to the door and went inside. Alex waited for a minute before he turned and walked back out. As he left he building that he could almost feel her eyes on him.
