Actually, it's even more fun than fanfics.
Anyway, "Dolly" is based off of a series of comic strips/ one- frame comics that starred a homicidal doll and her "master," David. My classmates were very fond of those comics, as they were quite funny, most of them. they ran along the lines of stuff like:
*Dolly is holding another doll in her hands. The doll is ripped in half, one half in each of Dolly's hands*
DOLLY: What's that, Ms. Prissycups? You don't want TEA anymore?
or,
*Dolly is standing inside a prison cell, David is standing on the outside of the cell leaning on the bars.*
DOLLY: I didn't do it! I swear! I was just walking by with a bloody knife!
DAVID: Don't worry, I'll have the bail by Tuesday.
or,
*Dolly is standing in the center of the frame. Off to the side is a pool of blood and what looks to be part of a dead body. Dolly is holding a bloody knife in one hand and a bottle of bactine in the other.*
DOLLY: Oh, oopsie.
DOLLY: Um, maybe you should put some bactine on that.
Eheh. Wheeee! Anyways, Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Be a good girl!
David exhaustedly shoved open his bedroom door, dumping his backpack on the floor near his desk. He dropped himself onto his bed and relaxed a bit before a thought smacked him hard and he jumped up.
"Dolly, where are you?!" He asked, seemingly speaking to no one.
A small doll emerged from the closet, wearing a lether jacket that was much too big for it and a hat that covered most of it's head.
"I'm playing dress- up!" The doll said.
David sighed annoyedly.
"I tlod you not to touch my stuff," He said to the talking toy.
"But I couldn't help myself. You never let me come to your school with you and it's just so boring. You say not to go out while you're away so I have nothing to do!" The doll protested as it took off the hat, revealing the yellow fabric that was supposed serve as hair.
David walked to the doll and bent down. "Then watch TV," He suggested as he gently pulled the jacket off of the doll.
"But I don't wannaaaa!" The doll screamed brattily.
David picked the doll up and carried it to the bed.
"Dolly," He said, "It's only 6 hours a day."
"An entire fourth! I miss you when you're gone!" Dolly yelled, hugging David.
"It's okay. I come back every time, don't I? Then we always have some fun. Just don't play with my things when I'm not here," He reminded.
"Why can't I come to school with you?" Dolly asked, not daring to release David from her embrace.
"Are you crazy? It's chaotic enough when I allow you to go out to the 7- Eleven with me-"
"I can't help it! Red is such a pretty color!" Dolly interrupted, referring of course to the color of blood.
"- As I was saying, you go crazy. I dare not even imagine what kind of hell you would unleash if I took you to school!" David finished.
Dolly finally let go of David, causing herself to fall onto the bed.
"But... but I can be good," Dolly pouted.
"That's what you said after the incident at the mall. And what happened after I took you there the second time?" David reminded.
"I... I... I... cut up alot of mean people who made fun of your hair," Dolly admitted sadly.
"And now you can't go to the mall. Well school has mean people like that there too. But in school, I can't just run away when you fly off the handle like that, I'm obligated to STAY. Worse yet, the guidance counselor might wanna have a," He gulped, "TALK with me."
Dolly considered for a moment.
"Can I... make Mr. Counselor dead?" Dolly asked innocently.
"No, killing people isn't always the best way to handle things," David said.
"But it worked all those other times-"
"No," David declined.
Dolly sadly jumped off the bed and climbed onto the dresser, sitting among all of David's assorted voodoo dolls, knives, and the such. She took one of the smaller dolls and hugged up to it, as if the lifeless form of a fellow peice of cotton filled fabric would provide any consolation.
David got up and rested his arms on the dresser.
"Dolly, I know you understand. I'd take you with me if I could, but-"
"... But you don't trust me," She finished his sentence, hugging the doll even tighter.
"I don't trust your temper, or your sanity for that matter. And I've good reason to think this way, mind you," David told you.
"I know," Dolly was now brushing the synthetic hair of the smaller doll with a small doll brush.
"Now cheer up. Let's go out for an Icee," He offered, trying to lighten the mood of his saddened friend.
Dolly put down her doll and looked up at David, considering.
"Ok," She said after a few seconds. She then jumped onto David's shoulder and hugged his neck, happy again.
"Now maybe if you're good, I'll let you get some candy too," David said to her as they went out the door.
Now, I suppose you're wondering by now why a doll is walking, talking, arguing and the such. Is it a new AI
robot doll from the evil toy corperations? Nope. Dolly is a normal doll. A poorly made one, to tell the truth. I'd explain her origins, but I'll just let that part of the story be revealed later. Plot device, you see.
David is kinda normal... ok, no he isn't. His parents are always away on buisness, so he's home alone most of the time. Which works out well, since it keeps him from having to explain the talking doll to them. He goes to public school, but despite that he's quite intelligent. He reads alot... and I do mean ALOT! He also collects voodoo dolls. He doesn't use them, but he likes to keep a few pins in each one, just for effect.
Dolly tends to play with these voodoo dolls alot, by the way.
David also collects knives. Like the voodoo dolls, he doesn't use them, but, again like the dolls, Dolly likes them... ALOT. Maybe a bit too much.
"I want a cherry Icee!" Dolly exclaimed as they entered the 7- Eleven.
"Okay, I'll get that. You go pick out a candy," David told her, ignoring the confused glares he was receiving from the guy at the cash register and the many people in the store.
"Candy! Candy! Whee!" Dolly ran off in the direction of the candy isle.
After a few minutes David had paid for the Icee and the candy and such, and were exiting the store, when David accidentally bumped into somone.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" The guy said.
"Oh, sorry," David apologized.
"You'd better be sorry, fag!" The [extremely rude] guy insulted.
David glanced at Dolly, praying to whatever god that would listen that Dolly wouldn't go crazy.
Dolly wanted so much to rip that asshole's rude vocal cord out. But she also wanted to prove to David that she could control her anger.
That, and she didn't wanna be put in the washing machine again.
Torn between two(three?) strong desires, what was she to do?
"Must be a good girl...," She said to herself, clenching her 'fists.'
David looked back at where the rude guy had been standing, to see that he was now backing away, freaked out at the talking doll next to David.
David looked back at Dolly and smiled, bending down so he could speak with her.
"You didn't kill him," David pointed out.
"I can control my temper! See? Can I have my Icee?" She said quickly.
David handed her her Icee, but held onto the candy, intending only to give it to her once they had made it home and if she hadn't hurt anyone on the way there.
"I'm gonna be a good girl, Master!" Dolly said to him as they walked in the direction of his house.
David chuckled. "I'll believe it when I see it."
"I CAN be good! I'll show you!" Dolly yelled.
"Ok then," David agreed, not in the mood to argue.
Dolly suddenly realized what she had done- she had promised David she would be 'good'... being good meant not killing things!
You see, Dolly's nature is to kill. That's about it. Being in the body of a doll gave her the playful, happy part of her personality, but her main intent when she entered this world was to rid it of whoever she saw fit.
And she just swore she wouldn't!
'No,' She thought in her cotton- made brain, 'I can be good. Master wants me to be good. So I will.'
Those words echoed in her mind.
'Master wants me to be good...'

Ohh, I hope that's good. Anyways, review! Tell me what you think! I hope to get some drawings of Dolly, David and a certain other character who appears next chapter scanned soon, and eventually uploaded and then I'll show them to you. But until then, you can just imagine what they look like.
Dolly is very very cute.
