Chapter 1: The start of a new mission.

Corrector unit 001 walked through the corridors of Home. Well, truly, there were no corridors. What there were was somthing which cannot be explained in words. The entire place known to 001 as "Home" was somthing far beyond human comprehension. So I describe the place in a way that, even though it doesn't describe it correctly, makes it possible for you, the reader, to understand.
So anyways, Corrector unit 001 walked through the corridors leading to her master Damon's chamber. He had called her to come and said it was urgent.
She knocked on his door, and he quickly told her to come in.
She stepped into the room and stood in front of his desk. "You asked to see me, sir."
"Yes," He agreed as he nodded his head, "You remember Supervisor unit 799, yes?"
"She was turned into a human. Oh, is it that time again?"
"Yes it is. Supervisor 799 has been human for nineteen years, and as you know, that's about the time we start seeing trouble," He explained.
"Memories of her past self emerge. Yes, I remember all this. I am to go to Earth and keep an eye on her, correct?" She finished for him.
"I'm glad you remember. But we have some new procedures concerning this. Due to the drastic rise in human violence since you last took a mission like this, it is imperative that the body you make for yourself is invulnerable," He told her.
"Yes sir. Shall I get to work, then?" She asked.
"Yes, go right ahead," He paused, "And remember, you are taking the form of a human, this time. No more dolls for you."
"Ah, good. I cannot say I was fond of my last body," She said with relief.
"... Speaking of dolls, Exterminator 667 is giving us some trouble," He said, "We keep giving her any punishment we can think of, but she still insists that we adress her as 'Dolly'."
001 sighed and shook her head. "She is horribly corrupt."
"Yes, I am aware of that. I was thinking that you could have a talk with her before you go. She knows you, so she might listen if you speak with her," He suggested.
"I do not believe she will, but I will try nonetheless. Good day, sir," She said before bowing slightly and leaving.
She walked along, as she tried to remember where to go to find 667's room. Eventually she asked one of the other entities there and he pointed her in the right direction. She knocked on the door of the room and was geeted by the familiar voice of the Exterminator inside yelling, "Go AWAY! I'm not talking to anyone!"
001 pushed the door open. "Greetings, 667," She said.
"Who the hell are you?" 667 replied, not recognizing 001.
"Corrector unit 001-"
"DORCIA!" 667 yelled angrily.
"Please, I would rather not be referred to by that ridiculous name," 001 requested.
"Go away Dorcia. I hate you. You got me in trouble. AND YOU FUCKIN' LIED TO ME! How many times did I have to tell you, I hate liars!" Exclaimed 667.
"Damon has asked me to speak with you. 667, you can not be called 'Dolly' anymore. I told you long ago, that name is only 's time has passed. You are Extermination unit 667. Nothing more," 001 explained to her.
"NO NO NO! I'm Dolly! I'm Dolly and you're Dorcia! Why can't I have a name, huh? Why?!" 'Dolly' asked.
"Because you are neither low enough to be human nor high enough to be like Damon. And as such, you have no name," 001 said.
"You know what? Fuck you! Go away! I wanna be called Dolly, so I'm gonna be called Dolly, goddammit! Now go away and ruin sombody else's life!" 'Dolly' screamed.
"Fine then. I tried. I must go to my new mission. I hope you come to your senses soon, though, as I can sense that you are not enjoying your punishments at all," And with that, 001 left.
An hour later on Earth, Dannielle was being given a tour of her new college.
Dannielle was a pretty girl, very skinny and about average height for her age (19). She had long, wavy red hair that went down to her hips and one clump of hair in front of her face was dyed black. She was wearing baggy blue jeans and a yellow jacket, under which you could see her light lavender shirt. She was wearing a thin silver chain with a round silver charm hanging from it.
Finally it came time for her to see her dorm room. She and her tour guide walked through the long hall of doors and, a little more than halfway through, arrived at her room. The tour guide opened the door and she stepped in.
"This is your dorm," He said, "Oh, it looks like your roommate is already here."
Danni looked at the girl sitting on one of the two beds. She was looking down at the floor, obviously deep in thought. The girl had black hair that just barely went below her shoulders and two long strands of hair that went in front of her face. The rest of her bangs were tucked behind her ears. She wore a long white coat and a dark grey bodysuit. On her feet were large boots that went up just below her knees. Around her waist, even though it appeared that she didn't need it, she wore a belt. It looked as if somthing was hanging from the beltloops, but the coat covered it so that it was impossible to see what it was.
"Uh, Hi!" Danni said cheerfully to the girl, "My name is Dannielle, but my friends all call me Danni! What's your name?"
The girl looked up. Her face was completely serious, and not a bit of feeling seemed to show through her expression. Her eyes were a dark blackish grey, and seemed to have the ability to burn a hole in you, if she were to stare long enough.
"Greetings. My name is...," She paused as she thought for a second, "My name is Dorcia."
"It's nice to meet you Dorcia! I hope the two of us can become friends, since we'll be sharing this dorm for a while," Danni stated.
"Yes... I am entirely sure that will be possible. Friendship is an extremely important thing," Dorcia agreed.
Danni could tell just by Dorcia's manner of speaking that she had her own quirks. But Danni wasn't the type to let that get to her. Everyone was wierd, in her opinion, and it was no big deal. Hell, she herself had once had a boyfriend who had two walking, talking, LIVING dolls running around his house! As if THAT isn't wierd?
The tour guide guy cleared his throat to get the girls' attention. "Well, I'm glad YOU two are getting along, but I've got some predetermined lines I gotta say or else they fire me. Here goes. You have 3 weeks to move in and get settled before classes start. You have seen the facilities and as such know that there is no cafeteria, so you will have to provide your own food. You have a small kitchen right here in your dorm, so if either of you know how to cook, then you'll be just fine. Remember, classes start in THREE WEEKS. Yes, it needs to be said twice. Don't know why. Danniele, here's your key," He threw a key to Danni, "And I'm sure she already has one. Now if you don't mind, I'm outta here," And her left, closing the door behind him.
"Whee, my very first dorm," Danni said to herself as she looked at the key in her hand.
Dorcia didn't say anything. She just stared at Danni.
'Supervisor 799,' Dorcia thought to herself, 'I am surprised. This is the same girl David was going out with.'
Danni noticed Dorcia's staring after she finished putting the key on her keyring. "Uhh... What? Do I have somthing on my face?"
Dorcia suddenly remembered that humans didn't like to be stared at. "Oh, I apologize. I suppose I do that somtimes."
"Um, okay. So, how old are you?" Danni asked as she sat down next to Dorcia, eager to get to know her new friend.
"I am nineteen years old," Dorcia lied. Of course, Dorcia wasn't 19. She was hundreds, no, thousands of years old. But that wasn't somthing that Danni should know about.
"Ah! So am I. So this is your first year of college, right? Either that or you're some genius that skipped a grade or somthing," Said Danni.
"Yes, this is my first year," Dorcia replied.
"Good. I'd hate to live with sombody significantly smarter than I am," Danni said happily, "It'd make me feel stupid."
"Mmhmm."
"What's your major?" Asked Danni.
"Game design and Engine programming/manipulation," Dorcia replied.
"So is mine! So we're probably gonna have some classes together!" Danni proclaimed cheerfully.
Of course, it was no coincidence that Dorcia and Danni had the same classes. That's how Dorcia had planned it. Dorcia had exactly all the same courses as Danni did. And with all the teachers that made you have assigned seats, Dorcia would always sit with Danni. Dorcia's job was to keep an eye on Danni, and that's what she would do.
"Hmm... do you have a boyfriend?" Danni asked.
"No," Dorcia answered simply.
"Oh, that's too bad. I don't either. I had to break up with mine because I had to move far away from him to come here," Danni said with just a hint of regret.
"What was his name?" Dorcia asked simply for the sake of seeming friendly, since, as you and I both know, Dorcia already knew the answer to that question all too well.
"David. Oh, he was the sweetest guy you could ever meet. He was smart, funny, friendly, ohh... he had it all. I've only been away from him a week and I just miss him so much," She sighed, "I hope he visits me sometime."
Dorcia nearly shuddered at the thought of David coming to visit. Or maybe she was holding back a laugh. I can't tell. Either she was completely opposed to the idea or absolutely happy with it. It's hard to tell, when we're talking about Dorcia.
Danni looked at her watch. "Oh, pooh. I've really gotta get my stuff into here," She looked back at Dorcia, "Shouldn't you, too?"
"No. I have already brought my belongings into this room. I have not much," Dorcia explained.
"Oh. Well, if it isn't too much trouble, could you help me out? I've got a ton of stuff!" Danni requested.
"... Of course. I would be happy to."
