This Poem is about someone that you can't live without, but you can wish you could. Not all feelings of adoration are asked for or wanted.
As Always, any critique is welcome.
Not Wanted
A few days without you
More like years, perhaps lifetimes
Relentless time without you
Like breathing underwater
Every breath meant to kill
Time is sometimes important
But not always wanted.
Maybe your absence wouldn't hurt so badly
If you didn't have to be so perfect
If I could find a flaw
I could exploit it
But there are none.
Why do you have to do that?
As much as it pains me to admit it
I need you
Everyone grows used to being alone
And then you had to save me
Why did you have to?
Thank you
