Breathlessly
Guitar strings are plucked
Fairies dancing on my palm light the way
It's a new moon garden party
Midnight gardenias hanging in clusters from the gazebo
Intoxicate the air w/ their heaviness
White and red Chinese lanterns hang motionless
The guests walk barefoot in the warm damp grass
Laughter and the musical clink of crystal
Bubbles up and spills into the darkness
Moonlight shines down from a blue-black sky
That blazes w/ diamonds
The marble fountain bounces the light back to my body
Covering me w/ white ripples that move
Languidly across my body
And I shimmer like a vision
Soft breeze licks the sweat from my spine
The guests open themselves like lotus buds
As the night bestows gentle kisses
