The Dragon of Light

The suns rays fell on the golden field,

the moons last light cast a shimmering shield.

While the rain poured down in streaks of fire,

the stalks all fell to the winds desire.

The trees of ages fell down to the ground,

and the volcanoes erupted without a sound.

From the waves of the deep came the Dragon of Light,

with her flaming breath drew earth to its blight.

The suns great strength fell on to the world,

the moon and stars gave rebirth where they could.

But the dragons destruction rained on and on,

until all that was left was the oceans lone song.
