Chapter 1: Death to the failure.

Drei opened the door to one of the cells and peeked her head in.
"Dorcia, you awake in there?" She asked.
A pair of eyes were visible in the darkness. They seemed to glow with some kind of malicious intent. "I am always awake, Drei."
"That can't be good for you," Drei told her, "But in this case, it's good. Deus would like to speak with you."
"You can tell Deus to go Home," Dorcia retorted, "I do not wish to see him. Or you either."
"Go home? That's not nice, Dorcia," Drei said.
"Oh, and you are? Leave me be," The eyes disappeared into the shadows once more.
Deus came up behind Drei.
"Dorcia, I know you know. Now come out, perhaps this can be talked over," He tried to coerce her into coming out.
"And I know what you are going to do to me," Dorcia screeched as she jumped out of the shadows just enough so that she was a silhouette with large, glowing eyes, reflecting the light let into the cell through the doors, "If you so much as touch me, I will kill you."
"We aren't going to hurt you, Dorcia," Drei insisted.
"Drei is being truthful," Deus agreed, "We have not gotten clearance to kill you."
"Then you will have by daybreak, will you not?" Dorcia asked, inching her way closer.
"I never said that," Deus denied.
Dorcia leapt out of the shadows and pounced onto Deus, knocking him to the ground. She put her hands around his neck, and her clawlike fingernails dug into his skin. "Do you think I am a fool?! I have been on more missions like this than you have! I know all the little lies and excuses one gives to a failure like me!"
"Drei…!" Deus called, gasping for breath while being choked by the vengeful Dorcia, "Get clearance… hurry, now!"
Drei nodded, then disappeared.
Dorcia grinned. "Going to kill me, are you?" She let go of Deus' neck with one hand (still holding on tightly with the other) and searched his pockets. She came across a shiny silver revolver and a small bag full of extra bullets. "A gun? Why, 002, you should be ashamed of yourself. Guns are a human's weapon!" Her grin did not fade, even for a second, "But oh, I am a human, am I not?" She held the gun to his head and pulled the trigger. He flinched a bit, and some of his head was blown away, but soon it all grew back.
"Invulnerable, eh?" Dorcia laughed, "You do know that your invulnerability only lasts as long as your energy does, yes? Let us see how many bullets that shall take," She pulled the trigger again, and as she did she said, "Two!"
His head grew back. "Dorcia, stop this!" He pleaded.
"I am not going down alone!" She screamed, then pulled the trigger again, "Three!"
"You know you cannot kill me!" Deus reminded.
"That I cannot, but I can leave you wishing you had never met me," Dorcia pulled the trigger once again, "Four."
Deus struggled to get free of her grip, but was unsuccessful. She was a lot stronger than she looked.
She pulled the trigger again. "Five! Starting to hurt yet?"
Deus held back the pain, and replied, "Not at all."
She shot again. "Six! Do not tell me it does not. You were in pain since the first bullet."
"But I do not fear pain, nor death," Deus told her as she put more bullets into the gun.
"All you fear is failure, and being disobedient toward Lord Damon," She shot again, "Seven. What you do not realize is that Damon is using you. All he cares about are his precious humans. He would rather all his subjects go corrupt than to lose his humans again," She pulled the trigger, "Eight."
"Nonsense," Deus argued, "You merely are bitter."
"LIES!" She screamed, then shot him again, "Nine. You are being tricked. You believe all he says because you are a child and do not know better. But some day you shall see the truth, and you shall regret having killed me!" She shot again, "Ten."
"But you never 'saw the truth' until you were turned human," Deus pointed out.
Dorcia screamed, "I was a fool too! I was so blinded by what I thought was kindness and affection… that horrible liar!" She shot two more times, then the gun was out of bullets, "Eleven! Twelve! He lied to me!" She began bashing his head with the butt of the gun, "Thirteen! Fourteen! Fifteen! Why do you not jut die, already?!"
Just then, Drei hurled herself at Dorcia, pushing her off of Deus. Deus groggily stood up and wiped the blood from his head. "Drei! Did you—"
"Damon says to do whatever is necessary," Drei told him as she wrestled with Dorcia, and eventually got the gun away from her and tossed it to Deus.
Deus caught it and reached into his pocket, looking for more bullets. He found one, and loaded it into the gun. He walked up to Dorcia and pointed it at her forehead.
"You shall regret this," Dorcia told him, "And so shall Damon."
"We shall see," And with that, Deus pulled the trigger, and the girl known as Dorcia was no more.
