Toji's Haiku, Series III
by Fujita Toji
harsh winter night
a harmonious voice
soothes me through
purple clouds
enveloped in
blue skies
cold breeze
the mountain mist
barely stirs
winter holidays end
dark clouds surround the
return flight home
new year
everywhere I look
white sand
early morning
remaining green leaves
shiver from the cold
autum morning
leaves whither
from the cold
complete stillness
brown leaves fall
upon other leaves
gray skies
a dozen birds
flying south
late night
street races bring
the cold air
