The Lady

She is a Lady,

Lethal and gentle at once.

She is vain;

Covered in a cloak of diamonds.

When she leaves, they glisten in her wake.

She is cruel;

Her beauty veils her treachery,

She kills or saves, as is her whim.

She is kind;

By her hand, the hunter is led to his prey,

And bridges form where none before stood.

She is a Lady,

Lethal and gentle at once.

She is Winter.
