In Truth

In truth, we all strive for perfection, unsatisfied with what we have and jealous of what we don’t. We forget that perfection is not happiness.

In truth, we all say we want happiness, with out realising when we have it. We complain enough when we think we don’t. We’re a mess.

In truth, we all say we don’t like mess. But when we don’t have it, we go out of our way to create it. Call it a process of living your own life.

In truth, we all say we want to live life. But none of us do, we’re too afraid of failing. We’re too afraid of relying on others, too afraid to like each other.

In truth, we all say we don’t mind what others think of us. That’s a lie. We just don’t want to be rejected. That’s why we don’t love, or won’t let ourselves be loved.

In truth, we all want to love, we all want to love someone, we just don’t want to get hurt and so we push each other away. We fight each other.

In truth, what we see as perfection is unrealistic.

In truth, we don’t know what happiness is.

In truth, we don’t live.

In truth, we don’t love.

In truth, there are no lies to protect us.

In truth, you’ll hate this for remind of you that.

And in truth, I am just like you.
